this hotel, adjacent to the Cathedral, is a beautiful, historical monument. the staff is gracious, rooms fantastic, and if requested, you can enjoy the zocalo from your balcony. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else....even though oaxaca is full of gorgeous, old hotels. sj more

Great zocalo view, large rooms but thats ALL. Poor lighting (a bulb hanging from a wire from the ceiling) and poor beds. The idea of paying $100 a night for this is totally ludicrous even with the great increase in Oaxaca hotel prices. more
