I just read a review from someone who stayed here around the same time I did (from Houston, Tx.), and I felt compelled to offer my review, which reflects an experience in complete contrast. First, the location is very good. Noria is close to Zocolo Sq., which is full of stores, great restaurants, car rental places, market places, etc. It's... More

To start with Eli the concierge thinks he is the owner. When I asked him to call the Manager or owner after many discrepancies in the property he didn't know what to do. 1.Small pool and full of cigarette butts, 2.AC didn't work properly, 3. Water in bath cold/hot/cold not regulated, 4. TV set from the 1980, 5. Breakfast so-so... More

Nice hotel, clean, close to everything, nice people but they didnt speak English much. Wi Fi was spotty and the room we had was very noisy because the hotel was located on a busy street. You must ask for a quiet room but if you don't smoke make sure you specify non smoking room.

I stayed with a group, and the rooms are adequately maintained. The location is very convenient for the downtown district. Many of the rooms have windows into the building itself - if you're someone that needs daylight in a guest room, this is not a good place for you to choose. As a result of the lack of daylight, the... More

I enjoyed my stay very much, the service was fine and warm. The building is nice, liked the room very much, clean and neat. The food at the restaurant very good and service too. Location is close to city center and enjoyed walking all around. Very good choice!

I went with a client because we need to buy some art pieces and wanted to be in downtown. Aas we talked with teh manager about our main purpouse of the visit, They gave us a lot of information and also put us in contact with an expert. The hotel attention was excellent, food great!

Nice building, small room but good service. Some times noisy, good restaurant with good food and excellent service. We were a couple traveling around Oaxaca and found the Hostal enough for our needs. The building was perfectly maintained, all the corners were clean.

A great location for walking around the old town, this hotel is a classic old hacienda converted. Lovely courtyard, good spacious rooms (we were on the third floor), all the services you would expect including good wifi. Good breakfasts and the dinner we had in the restaurant was excellent. Staff very helpful.

The Hostal de la Noria is located a couple of blocks from the main square (Zocalo). The rooms are clean and well kept. The air-conditioner is very noisy, making clicking sounds in no particular rhythm. Our room was on the street which was busy all night long, not allowing for a sound sleep. It appeared that there was hardly any... More

Seems to be only Aussies reviewing! I would rate it as "good". Twin room second floor fine. Nice courtyard. Breakfast good and close to everything. Wifi. My only gripe is what I thought was hard bed/pillow, however minor concern. . Aircon in rooms if needed. Recommended .
