I stayed in this hotel in two different occasions on November. First i got a huge room, with king size bed and very updated, even with the obvious hotel's antiqueness. Next time i got a half the size room, with twin beds and paper thin walls. I could hear everything my neighbors did in their bathroom. Btw, Not nice to... More

This was our second stay in the last couple of years. We booked in advance so that we would have a place to stay when we arrived. The property and accomdation are nice and clean, and the staff is helpful. The Federal police were also staying there for unclear reasons, but added an element of extra security. We would return... Close location to the Historic District.. Be warned you have to cross a busy road to get there."Police Federal" with machine guns are in front of the lobby, not sure why they are there, did not see them at other hotels.I felt very safe. Restaurant is mediocre, Breakfast buffet for $ Peso 180.00 seemed high. Pool was not heated when... More

This hotel was designed as a luxury resort place with a large swimming pool but it is a bit outdated. The rooms are large and clean but without a fridge or an ice machine, the swimming pool is large but 1/3 of it is for kids and the rest is not deeper than 1.5m. The breakfast is way too expensive... Returned to this Hotel after a year and was pleasantly surprised at changes that have been made. The beds have been updated and were very comfortable. The internet has been upgraded and now works very well all over the property. As before it is very clean, the grounds are very well taken care of and are beautiful, the pool is... More

I stayed there for 5 days for a scientific conference. The overall experience is very rewarding, I must say. It has a resort type feeling which I really loved. There are lots of greenery around this hotel complex which made my stay relaxing as I love to be close to the nature ! When you walk towards your room after... More

Staff were pleasant. Rooms were clean. Room amenities and toiletries were adequate. It has a nice size swimming pool but unfortunately we didn't have the time to utilize it. The morning buffet breakfast spread was pretty good. The hotel does look tired and dated and in dire need for some upgrades. Wi-fi is great at the lobby and restaurant area.... More

This hotel somehow typefies the state of Mexico as a whole: charming and colourful but rather disfunctional. The original building was a grand villa, which has been subsumed into a resort hotel. It has an army of staff of all ranks, all with their own special uniforms. Yet many of them seem to spend a lot of time standing around,... More
