Great place with free wi-fi that actually WORKS, free parking, very large pool, luscious landscaping and large rooms---all at a great price. Room was very clean and service was friendly. We got excellent directions to Monte Alban---and a map!

We just spend 10 days at this Hotel and got to know it rather well. Before arriving I was a bit puzzled by the mixed reviews, ranging from high praise to strong criticism. My conclusion is that ones reaction to the hotel depends what one focuses on, and which room one stays in. We stayed in room 902, a beautiful... More

It is a beautiful property, with luscious gardens and good friendly service. The rooms are very large, very clean and with the usual amenities. Water bottles are left in the room daily as is coffee. Linens are changed daily, impeccably clean. The TV if you use it is full of English and some European channels. The restaurant is wonderful for... More

we were there for two nights only. the hotel sounds very good on paper but the fittings didnt work, drinking water was rationed and the service was surly and lousy. no vegetarian options in the food. wifi was non existent. worse still, the water in the taps ran dry and as we were supposed to leave at about 3.30 am,... This hotel is very good for the price. The hotel itself its a little old but the rooms are so very comfortable, big and clean. Nice beds, It is a great place for families since it has a big pool. The breakfast buffet included in the price was very good too.

I spent 10 days in this hotel in the last week of June. It's close to downtown. Excellent atmosphere if you're into Spanish colonial style or arquitecture. Beautiful gardents. There's a security box. I recommend it's usage and also a luggage bag with safety features. Three bottles of mezcal and a children's book were never found in my room when... More

Hotel in great need of remodeling. Everything is dated, bathrooms, fixtures , colors ,air conditioning unit , swimming pool etc... but food and service is good , specially in the restaurant staff. You have decent wi fi reception over most of the property , but no internet connection most of the time . Not good for a business stay if... More

Even if the hotel is nice, breakfast delicious, and location smart, Internet in this hotel is practically non-existent. I stayed there last year and front desk explained they had a problem and were working on it. I returned last week and was presented with exactly the same excuse. When I asked to clarify, they made up all sort of unbelievable... More

This is a wonderful old 200-room hotel sprawling over several hectares within walking distance of downtown Oaxaca and the Colonial District. Great pool, excellent old-fashioned restaurant with older, experienced white-jacketed waiters and a splendid breakfast buffet. It's a favorite for local people doing "Quinceañeras" and business meetings. But we took a meeting to the hotel of some 60 people from... More

For an extended family trip to Oaxaca this was the perfect option. Yes, there are problems. The wifi is only properly functional in the reception area (awful in the rooms) and they do sometimes feel slow and goof up on occasion (on Christmas Eve the person in charge of the linens left with the key, so they were never able...
