The breakfast are great and the employees are very welcoming. The showers are good and the internet as well. The private rooms are big and comfortable, besides they seem a little old. Once our shower had dirty water and the hostel fixed within hours.

We were on our way back from staying a week in Huatulco and only needed to stay in Oaxaca for one night before catching out flight the next morning. When my family and I first arrived we were impressed to see all the award from trip advisor for cleanliness. The Hostel look very nice, it certainly looked like we were... More

The two times I've been here I've stayed here and the service and the people are nice and helpful. The environment is also good and Sam is such a welcoming and friendly person. Internet is sluggish sometimes but anyway... Overall i had a great time.

this place is huge! it feels more like a hotel than a hostel, esp. with the restaurant downstairs. but it`s spotlessly clean, and they let me check in early. my only complaint is the noise. There were dozens of young, loud travelers staying here, and they were all gathered right outside our door talking and yelling at midnight. Also, the... More

Don Nino is a cool place. The check-out is late (12pm) and the staff are easy-going. They cook you breakfast each morning in addition to the cereal and toast that is available. The beds are good for a hostel. The outside-social area is also nice, as are the free Mezcal tastings. They also have a lot of movies and shared... More

Lovely hostel, great location in oaxaca. One of the best hostels I stayed in Mexico. They were cleaning all the time, it was spotless! Friendly staff, nice rooms- with names on beds, towels and reading light on your bed. The best bit a nice roof top kitchen. Great hostel.

Good location with decent facilities. The staff is what made this hostel great for me. The locals at reception spoke enough English to make checking in and booking tours a breeze while the American girl who ran the night activities knew how to create a friendly, sociable atmosphere so everyone felt welcome. Would recommend to my friends.

The facilities here are top notch. There are nice spaces to pass time and a beautiful restaurant downstairs. Everything is constantly being cleaned and looked after. You can also get drinking water right in the hall which is so convenient! This hostel is a lot higher quality than many that I have visited.

I stayed 1 night. The hotel is very close to bus station (5 minutes walking distance) but not so close to center and from the other side where buses to Mont Alban start. The room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast included. Breakfast start at 8.00. The hotel has a locker in case you have to leave the baggage before... More

160 pesos is a lot to pay for a dorm bed, but the excellent breakfast--would cost 50 pesos elsewhere--makes this a fairly good deal. The facilities are immaculate, everything organized, soap and shampoo dispensers actually work, the kitchen drawers have labels, and there's hot water in the shower, with a little patience. Annoyances: I can't figure out how to turn... More
