We had an amazing time on our first visit to Mexico City, largely due to the helpfulness of the staff at the Tree House who were full of hints and tips and great cantina recommendations! The accommodation itself was faultless and we loved the breakfasts (both traditional and non). We will definitely be back to Mexico City and will most... More

I had read many reviews of The Red Tree House and thought it couldn't possibly be true, but really, it's amazing! The service is incredible, the location is perfect, the property is immaculately presented and a real treat for art lovers. I loved meeting the other guests over a glass of wine in the evening as well. Great tips for... More

Fabulously friendly b&b in a safe, leafy, trendy part of Mexico City situated not too far from the metro. You have a lovely welcome from all the staff and the dog. The garden room we had was clean with good furniture and artwork. It is definitely worth staying here for breakfasts alone. Huge spread of food with tasty hot options... More

Although we a little trouble finding our way to the Red Tree House, I cannot recall being more pleasantly suprised. Looked our room (the Oaxaca). The surrounding area is full of pleasant places to eat, there is also a very nice park nearby that sometimes has an arts and crafts market. The Red Tree made us feel cosy, safe and... More

Having chosen The Red Tree House via Tripadvisor recommendations, we knew we were in for a first class experience. Little did we know just how good it was going to be! We arrived on time into Mexico City on our BA flight and found our car and driver easily. Unfortunately what should have been a 30 minute or so car... More

when you enter this small hotel you feel truly welcome. Well designed spotless rooms with neat bathrooms. One is surrounded by good vibes, nice people and beautiful objects and art. The Condessa location is great. Nice walking, calm traffic, beautiful parks right near central DF. There are several very good restaurants within easy walking distance. More

Being fortunate to travel the world, I can truly say this has been one of my best hospitality experiences EVER. From the wonderful, homely welcome, to the beautiful, well appointed rooms (offering everything you would expect from a 5 start hotel), the expert travel/destination advise and complimentary touches - this is a winning formula. Breakfast is around a communal table,... More

I stayed at the Red Tree House in August 2011 for my birthday week-end (bad on me for not posting a review sooner!) in Mexico City and I can't say enough good things about this place. The location is in the Condesa neighborhood, which is packed with quirky boutiques and cafes and eateries, and a 5-10 minute walk to the... More
