This place was recommended to me by another BnB that I had intended to stay at, but was not available on the dates I was visiting. I was, however, very happy with this as an alternate! The place is very cool - to get to the room I was in, you had to walk across this little indoor bridge! The... More

Casa Comtesse is very well located on outskirts of Condesa, but the room is quite basic for the price you're paying. Also, while breakfast is included, it's not very good relative to the other cafes around - Casa Comtesse tries to be fancy (avocado stuffed with shrimp, goat cheese omelette) when really all we wanted was Mexican-style eggs. That said,... More

We spent six nights at Casa Comtesse and loved every moment of our stay. A beautiful old mansion, the property recalls the charm of a bygone era yet offers every modern amenity that travelers require. Beds and bedding were very comfy, showers were hot, wifi worked perfectly, and rooms were super clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Comtesse. The staff and other guests were super. Nice comfortable room over looking the courtyard with a huge tree and can hear the drizzle of rain that is typical of Mexico City. Easy walk to restaurants, bars, shops, parks and very easy access to the metro. We felt very safe the entire time... More

We stayed here whilst visiting the city for 5 nights. The Casa is a beautifully renovated house with some amazing art pieces all around; Thomas has done a wonderful job curating the house. Our room and bed were very large and there was plenty of space within the other areas of the house to relax in. There is a little... More

Do you care about location? Condesa is pretty good and Casa Comtesse is real good within Condesa. Short rides to Centro and amazing sites available within a good taxi ride. Easily accessible public transport. The staff are friendly and approachable, the breakfasts are wonderful and inventive, and the art and appointments writhing the rooms make for a rally pleasant environment.... More

My parents and I were visiting Mexico City in November 2015. They had the Jaguar room with beautiful hardwood floors that overlooked the back gardens, so really quiet. I had a smaller room at the front of the house (Charamusca), which was more bare bones and can get a bit noisy from sounds downstairs in the kitchen...but overall a nice... More

We stayed at Casa Comtesse for 4 nights in November 2015, and the stay was fantastic. The house has a lot of charm and the staff very friendly and helpful. Right near a metro-bus and the subway. At a walknig distance from many trendy restautants.

We had an excellent experience at Casa Comtesse for our first time in Mexico City. Ramon was very helpful in setting up a trip to see Teotihuacan and San Miguel, and recommending some great restaurants (try El Califa!) and cafes nearby The TV had Netflix already set up which was a great bonus for entertainment Location is great, walking distance... The good: Nice staff, good breakfast, good location to metro, amenities and restaurants. Nice basic ambiance. The bad: Poorly ventilated, noisy and too warm. The ventilation is poor in the rooms, having to first go through a glassed walkway, where the only ventilation can occur through the only windows in the room. Stay would have been fine, except the mgmt... More

Dear Guest, I was truly heartbroken to hear you were so disappointed. I wholeheartedly apologize if there was anything we could have done to make your brief stay with us all you hoped for. At the same period you stayed, we received two artists from England that made an installation in the art gallery of the hotel and they organized... More
