Short trip (4 nights), to visit our daughter who was living in Mexico City. I selected Casa Comtesse mostly because it was a short walk to her apartment; turned out to be a great choice! A nice little B&B with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Good access to transport, with a MetroBus station across the street, and the underground... More

I loved staying at Casa Comtesse. The rooms were wonderful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great location, too. Close to restaurants, bars, cool shops, and everything is walking distance.

This hotel is a mansion turned hotel. The decor is splendid... tasteful and thoughtfully done. The house is comfortable and feels safe. There are common areas, not only the living room but outdoor spaces as well. There is a bookcase for your perusal, hats for trips to Teothiuacan, etc. I was in the Piruli room. It was on the second... More

Pros: - Beautiful house and common area, with classy decor. - Friendly staff and highly professional service. - They put a lot of effort into breakfast presentation. There is bread, coffee, fresh juice, fruit, yogurt, and cereal, as well as a cooked main course that changes. During my two days there, Day 1 was an egg, cheese, and ham sandwich... More

We also stayed at Casa Comtesse also about a year ago. It is still a great place, and you always meet interesting people from all over the world at breakfast. We have now stayed in Jaguar, Oriente, and Piruli. Jaguar is a big comfortable room but we also liked Piruli, and actually for us the bed is better in Piruli... More

We chose this as the hotel for our first visit to Mexico City, and can honestly say it was an inspired choice. The hotel is lovely- with a nice spacious communal living area and big dining room, and the breakfasts were good. The location is great- you are on Benjamin Franklin, so you can access the metro outside (very cheap)... More

For our first trip to Mexico City we weren't too sure what to expect, but Casa Comtesse was an excellent choice. The building oozes charm, the walls and hallways adorned with spectacular artwork from local contemporary and traditional artists. Every corner of this B&B was thoughtfully laid out and very quickly I felt relaxed and right at home. You can... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Comtesse for two nights. The place is really well situated, in a nice neighbourhood but you will probably need a taxi to get there initially to get your bearings. It did feel like a home from home... The building itself is characterful and charming and the room was very clean and comfortable.... More
