First of all I need to point out that we have never stayed at 6M9 Guesthouse, however I felt it necessary to relate the very positive and professional business practices they employ. Several months ago my partner & I booked a stay at 6M9 and made a 1 night deposit for a 5 night stay beginning April 30th 2009. A... more

I read reviews on this place before booking and didnt know what to expect. Fortunately it was excellent. Its a good location and I had a quiet and clean room with free wifi and drinks too. There are various areas to relax after an exciting day in the city. The staff were very helpful and I will definitely be staying... more

This hotel is in a decent location and the building is quite lovely, though not nearly as pristine as the pictures suggest. All of this would have made for an acceptalbe stay but for the OTHER issue.... We traveled to Mexico City, in part, to visit a good friend that we've known for some years. He lives 15 minutes from... more

We enjoyed our week at the guesthouse immensely. Everybody provided a warming welcome making us feel at home they assisted us again and again throughout our stay. Professionalism, cleanliness and service were excellent. We were invited to Christmas dinner which was a pleasant & warming experience. Oscar couldn't do enough for us & Ian was an excellent cook. We have... more

What to say. The property itself is in a fantastic location. It's a colonial style house converted into six units. The problem is that the owners don't know how to operate their own business. I stayed there once before and only returned because of the price/location. This time, only a year later, the place was like a ghost town. I... more

Good location, mexico city is big, this hotel is inbetween the old downtown and the big parks/museums, 3 minute walk to good subway line and the gay pink zone. Hotels st is nice and quite despite been so close to the nightclub pink zone. It's a big old grande building with charm and character. All guests and staff are gay.... more

This is our second visit to Mexico city and to this guesthouse and we love both. The guesthouse has some beautiful features and the rooms (we had a King room overlooking the pool) is comfortable although no phone and there are various common areas you can use, including a nice terrace on the roof. The staff are helpful with advice... more

Every aspect of my expereince of this place was just horrible. To the paid booking that they lost to the worst thing...the disgusting state of the room. It was filthy and smelly. Old stains and built up grime all over. The worst being the bathroom and a bed remade with the old sheets. Imagine the thought of that after a... more

From the reviews that we read about this guesthouse we had an idea of how it would be and we were not disappointed at all. The owners of 6M9 make you feel totally welcome and really part of the family. The building itself is massive and beautiful. They have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. I will stay here... more
