I stayed at the Camino Real for two nights on business. It is a very nice hotel and affordable, with friendly staff and a very helpful concierge. The workout facilities are also nice and clean. The problem is that you pay for everything. Internet, bottled water in the room, expensive meals and drinks, just about everything they can charge for,... More

Pros: - Concierge service - Comfortable beds - Good location if you need to be in the Pedregal area. Obviously very far from anything downtown (as much as 90 minutes in traffic) - Food at the two restaurants is pretty good if a bit overpriced Cons: - Some of the ads feature a pool but the hotel doesn't actually have... Stayed there for a business trip. Beds are very comfortable, breakfast ai all right, location is not too bad to be reasonable close to the center and to the airport (considering the lousy traffic in DF). Shame internet is not included in the rate and watch out if you have continental breakfast included in the rate as you may be... More

I had to choose this hotel as it is next door to the hospital where we were to hospitalize a family member. I said we had to choose as I had seen the reviews and overall I was not looking forward to this stay...what an amazing surprise! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with an honest smile. The... More

Do not be fooled by a seemingly good room rate in comparison to toher neighboring hotels. Once you get here they sting you for everything. There are no stores or restaurants close by and the pereferico is right out front. There is no courtesy bottle of water in the room and the 1l bottle costs $47 plus tax. There is... More

I found the service very bad and incompetent. This, coupled with the bad quality of the rooms, makes the place unbearable. The first night I was thirsty and was looking for water. However, there is no complimentary drinking water anywhere in the room. So tried to open the minibar, but it was locked. I asked the reception and was told... More

I stayed in this hotel on a trip sponsored by the government. For such a new hotel, the rooms seemed quite dirty. There were food smudges on the wall, and what looked like blood or some other dark matter smudged above the bathroom light switch. And there were many spills and stains on the floor. The bathroom sink had water... More

We have stayed in other Camino Real hotels over the years and have found them to be very good. This time we spent 1 night and got a very good price (aproximately $140 US for 3 pax) through Expedia although the rate they have posted on reception is $400 US !!! They claim to be a 5 star hotel which... More

I read the reviews here and wasn't really sure what to expect, but overall, I had a very good experience there. I was there for two full weeks. The room was very well-kept with a huge window and a beautiful view out to the mountains. It was thoroughly cleaned and restocked every day, and the staff were very friendly when... More
