This place is located in an oasis of Mexico City. It's off one of the main streets, set back in a gorgeous courtyard complex with a number of other boutique shops and restaurants. The results is it makes you feel very safe and content. There is a pretty good atmosphere in the place, the staff are very helpful and speak... More

I spent approximately 4 nights in the DF and my stay in the hostel was very comfortable. The service is as good as a hostel service can be, beds are comfortable and location wise it was a smart move to stay in this hostel. The very nice remodeled palace where the hostel is located makes you feel as if the... More

This hostel was nice, situated in a very trendy building in the center of the old part of Mexico City. The hostel and hotel advertise having access to the bar and rooftop pool, however every night we were there these were booked out for private events - so don't count on them being available! The hostel is definitely not very... More

Most people have already stated the pros and cons of this place. Staff could be more helpful, they seem to asume everyone has been to a hostel (which is indifferent to me) What about people staying in one for the first time? Continental breakfast basically inexistent but they do offer some other things (written in the chalkboard at the right)... More

Very clean. Early checkin was no problem and the staff was helpful. Fast internet en useful small lockers in the room with power so you can charge you phone while sleeping safely. Location is great! Downsides where that you need to spent 250 peso on food/drinks of the poolbar to use the pool. It is written on the website but... More

A friend and I stayed a long weekend at this hostel for her birthday. We were assigned an upper bunk. The beds look cool, but we were constantly hitting our heads on the iron beam in the ceiling every time we climbed up/down the ladder. And since the bed construction is concrete, you just have to be really careful as... More

Great location near the Zocolo. Part of a an upscale complex, so pretty good security. I stayed in a four bed dorm, the design of which provided better than average privacy. The faux electric switch box mini-lockers had an outlet for charging your electronics while they were locked inside - a nice touch. Large, modern bathrooms. As others have noted,... More

If you want a hotel experience for a hostel price, then this is your place. The rooms & facilities were super clean, I especially love the massive rose head in the shower, could've stayed in that for hours! The flash restaurant, cafes, boutique & organic shops, & movie room on site were great, plus they have cruiser bikes for guests... More

Pluses are the access to the hotels swank rooftop pool, the Zocolo location, and hip status that comes with it's connection to the hotel. The service was flat, and our room in April had a not insignificant number of mosquitos at night. Was glad to do for a couple nights but wouldn't have liked staying much longer.

Pros: excellent location, cheap and clean. Cons: No soft furnishings, so very noisy at night. Breakfast was awful (cold coffee and stale bread). Customer service is non-existent, either rude or indifferent, and the (very nice) pool on the roof has a minimum spend in the bar of 250 pesos, which is the strangest rule i have heard of! I think...
