Four of us spent several days together. Very comfortable. Service helpful but not intrusive. International guests including a grandmother from France helping her daughter with a newborn in the neigborhood. Great neighborhood, of course! Wonderful ecological values including ingenious herb garden on the roof terrace.

I stayed at this hotel during this last year. I thought the hotel was OK. It was a good location in the heart of Condesa. No complaints here. The beds were OK, food was fine. My big complaint is the driver I hired throught the hotel, I think his name was Jose Luis. He came highly recommended from the hotel... More

I was impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the manager, Rodrigo. He was always available and eager to help out with all the little details from booking the room, helping to organize airport transfers and making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was healthy, abundant and fresh. Cozy atmosphere and well kept common areas to hang out. The... More

HUGE RECOMMENDATION FOR STELLA. It is the perfect oasis in the heart of the Condesa. We were 3 people total traveling on a short trip in Mexico City. We were recommended Stella by a Mexican friend / artist. I made a reservation with Rodrigo, the manager, via email. It was a quick and easy process, no deposit necessary. I also... More

Casa Stella is located in Condesa, a charming, quiet neighborhood of fine restaurants, shops and excellent transporation. The B&B has a homelike feel, with large clean rooms and antique furnishings that over look a garden. The service was very good, partiularly Rodrigo, the manager, who couldn't have been more helpful from recommending restaurants and things to do in the city,... More

Stella is a bed and breakfast located on Amsterdam Avenue in the Condesa neighborhood, Mexico City. The house was designed and built in 1930 by Francisco Serrano, one of the great architects of his generation, who built the Edificio Basurto and Pasaje Polanco, among other Mexico City landmarks. The house was restored in 2010, respecting the original design and period finishes. The décor at Stella mixes art deco and vintage furniture with a stunning collection of Mexican contemporary art. It is clear that each piece of furniture, lighting and artwork has been chosen carefully to complement its specific space. Stella has seven rooms, four in the main house and three in a separate guest house. The hotel uses its own water treatment plant, a rain water retrieval system and solar panels as part of our commitment to the environment. ... more   less
