Located at a nice neighborhood, nice restaurants. Comfortable bedding. Not good airconditioning. Food is average. I asked for room service and it take a ridiculous period of time, i have to call twice for my order.

I like Ws and I know they are modern and contemporary, but this one is not practical. It has a hammock in the shower that I had to move, the shower itself cannot be used only from the top, it only works with two additional shower heads at chest and lower body areas. Beds are not the most comfortable but... More

Im a fan of W hotels and this one is inline with expectations: excellent customer service, comfortable bedding, nice amenities. What makes this hotel great is the location. The area is safe and you can comfortably walk down the street for good eats or through the park to the other side for tons of delicious restaurants. We found it close... More

Hi JEM782; Its nice that you enjoyed our super comfortable beds and had the time to check the neighborhood. I'm very sorry about the inconvenience with the A/C, we are in remodelation and that's one of the improves we are doing. About the hallways, the new ones have a lot of light, so the next time you stay with us,... More

W Mexico City is located in a nice neighborhood of Mexico City known as Polanco. The area is home to some wonderful restaurants like Cantina Numero 20 (just around the corner), Harry's, and Villa Maria. But staying at the W isn't a classy way to experience Polanco. The hotel has a brothel like vibe, being both painted and (at night)... More

The W is redoing its rooms and elevators, so it's looking improved compared to some of the reviews I read. My room was a new one. Everything is unique and trendy, as you would expect from a W. The cons are slow wifi, inconsistent water temp in shower, lots of noise from the lounge music in my room on 5th... More

The W is a standard business hotel although it has some issues. The upper floors are a bit dated, but to be fair the hotel is renovating floor by floor from the bottom up. Recomend you ask for a lower room until they finish the project. Also, it is a 24 story building and only 3 elevators. The service staff... More

Hi Steve L; I'm very sorry for all the inconveniences with the elevator; the rooms are not the only thing that is in remodeling, the elevators are in the same process. It's a shame that it happened to you. We hope that momentqary issue won't stop you of stay with us again. Have a wonderful day! Daniel Menéndez Whatever/Whenever More

Booked on the reputation of the W - but this one let's the hotel chain down badly! Dreadful rooms are like prisons, shabby and dated- tile floor chipped, cheap rugs, some bizarre hammock strung across the bath. . Trying way to hard to be funky . The restaurant is tired and food very ordinary. The wait staff seemed like the... More

This is part of the world renound W hotels which are supposed to be of high quality but this hotel lacks it somewhat. The Entrance and Bar are nice I liked the big hands for seats thats pretty funky but for me that was where it stopped. The Lift smelt bad like the carpets were just not washed, the mastic... More

I stayed here a big number of times before. I will never stay here again. What's sold as (and used to be) a Fantastic Suite is now a meh room. Don't be fooled by their pictures, the renovation has been screwing the hotel up entirely. The huge bathtub that stood in the middle of the room turned into a bathtub... More

I spent three nights at the Hotel W on a recent business trip to Mexico. The hotel is well, different! Its obviously designed with a theme in mind but what that theme is, I am not sure. I would personally describe it as funky or hip. The rooms are comfortable and very roomy but again, that theme continues. The shower... More

Hello there klkh2002! Thanks for the review! Yes, our passions are design, fashion and music; that's why we look a little bit funky. About the theme, is "Masquerade". Do you know about "lucha libre", and the fighters with masks? Well, that's the inspiration about the design of this hotel, but we gave it a twist. We know we need some... More
