We live in Mexico City and I purchased my husband a gift certificate worth $150 at the Away spa for Christmas 2008. We booked a massage for him and for myself in May 2009, and when we looked at the gift certificate we realized it was only good for three months (expiring end March 2008) rather than for a year... more

My partner and I stayed here on a business trip to Mexico City, and it was a wonderful choice of a hotel. As are most "W" hotels, it was modern, sleek, and minimalist, with a young and very helpful staff. The hotel is located very close to a subway stop and several great restaurants and shopping. It was easy to... more

Having had the misfortune of BA losing my luggage, the W Mexico looked after me from the time the driver met me at the airport, to the time I stepped out of the car & arrived in my room - they provided me with an emergency amenity kit and then even delivered my luggage to my room at my request... more

We returned to Mexico City for two nights and were very pleased with our choice of the W Hotel. Most notable about the hotel is its outstanding staff. From the bellmen to the fitness center attendant, everyone is very welcoming and eager to assist. The concierge provided useful guidance on restaurants. The fitness center is well-equipped and the spa has... more

We spent 3 nights at the W as part of the first week of our honeymoon. We arrived from the Habita down the road. We managed to score a Fantastic Suite for the first night for a really really good deal. It was completely amazing. We had floor to ceiling windows looking over the city – on the 24th floor... more

This is a great hotel if you're going to party. This is not the hotel to stay in if you want a good night's sleep, or are there for business. Too many young partiers yelling in hallways, slamming doors in the middle of the night to get any rest or get any work done from the hotel in the morning,... more

The W hotel in Mexico City looks great on the outside but is overall ill suited for a business traveler. The constant DJ disco beats begin when you approach the hotel lobby and follow you to reception, the gym, outside your room and even at 6:00 AM in the morning when you'd like a quiet breakfast in the restaurant with... more

Great location (close to the Anthropology museum, a "must see" in Mexico City), a hip hotel, would recommend to young singles as this place rocks most nights. The bar is packed and the music is great. The rooms are incredibly spacious and clean, but they are dark, the whole focus being on hip and trendy (there's a hammoc in the... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2008 and I cannot say anything negative about it. The location is great and there is a nearby subway station. The staff is very helpful and friendly, but what I really loved was the room and how hip the place is. There are restaurants within walking distance, including a Starbucks... more
