We just came back from a one night stay at the newly remodeled W Mexico City. We loved what they did to the rooms, bye bye to the obnoxious red you used to find everywhere around the hotel and welcome to stylish grays, greens, blues, blacks and creams. There are cool design features throughout the room, with even some cool... More

Had a great stay at the W back in December with my best friend. Polanco is a weird neighborhood (I like Roma and Condesa a lot better), but we had a fun time while there. i'm SPG gold and got upgraded to a spectacular room with great views of the city. we had dessert and drinks on the deck at... The W Hotel in Mexico City is located in the very hip neighborhood of Polanco, which has an abundance of restaurants and bars to choose from. This W Hotel, I would have to say is one of the coolest I have stayed in, the lobby and the room takes a leaf out of a modern museum of art - everything... More

I always have fun staying at W in Mexico city, they have comfortable rooms with a nice view for the Chapultepec park, and the neighborhood is great, it is on the heart of Polanco, you can go to many hi end restaurants by walk. The breakfast buffet is very complete and it has been renovated recently

If for whatever reason you stay at the W, it will be fine, nothing particularly bad, but just nothing particularly great. This hotel got the "cool'ish" factor down, the decoration throughout the lobby and in the rooms got the artistic feel to it, and overall there is nothing particularly wrong with it. However, there is something that is missing throughout... More

We always stay at the W when travel, but this place was, as suggested by other comments, a little disappointing. We got a corner room that was still pretty small. And when we asked for a water kettle, we had to ask for 3 times... At first they said okay, and then they said they didn't have it. And then... More

We stayed at the W Mexico City hotel for a long weekend and enjoyed our time there. The location right in the middle of Polanco couldn't be better as we had walking access to some of the best restaurants in Mexico City as well as the museum complex. The good: Customer service was exemplary. From the front desk, to the... More

The very modern look is not matched with functionality. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. I could here all night my next door neighbour talk on the phone, and the hallway music. water pressure in the sink is excessive and not existent in the shower. There is no counter space in the bathroom. Closets are small. If... More

Newly updated suite, but remains average. Small things missing from room such as only one coffee cup, no tea spoon. Staff are ok. In this age it is bizarre that there is no free internet available in the room in an upmarket hotel charging usd$450 per night. (Regular business traveller here, stayed in W and many others globally.)
