It is a hotel boutique taken to the extreme, way too minimalist, they charge you for absolutely everything... Also the hotel is old, it needs to catch up with technology. The relation product-value is not worth it. Too expensive for what you get, a tiny bedroom with one of the tiniest bathrooms ever... The shower wasn't working and it made... More

Its always nice to give a hotel a second chance. I have off days, and it seems like hotels do also. The rooms have been updated since my previous stay. New carpets, fresh paint and thoroughly cleaned. This is a good hotel for a business trip while not as stuffy and corporate as some of the big western hotels. The... More

This hotel is very pricy, small and old... I get that hotel boutiques are mostly small but this was too much... I think they got caught up behind with the technology... the only good thing about this hotel is their top floor bar and their location... Other than that I really wouldn't recommended it.

Hotel Habita After traveling 29hrs from Melbourne, the initial impressions of Hotel Habita was good. A welcome shot of Mezcal and an upgrade for breakfast to be included for our 4 day stay. We soon found out that this was perhaps an apology in advance, why? I'll come to that in a minute. First the good. The room was modern,... More

Dear Geoff W: Thank you for your comments. I am glad you liked the mezcal upon arrival, this just a detail to make you feel welcome. Regarding the "yuppie hipsters": this was just a one time casting we had going on at the hotel, and we did keep space fo rour guests to enjoy our pool. The hotel taxis have... More

I choose Hotel Habita on every stay above all others. Not only because of its design, rooms and location but because of its amazing service. 3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

This hotel is very modern, clean and artistic. The continental breakfast included with the room is wonderful. However, I have a couple big issues. For one thing, when we reserved our room there was no mention that there were entire 'smoking floors.' We were assigned a room and on the second day started smelling strong cigarette smoke. We told the... More

The hotel is located on the main road in Polanco. It is a small modern hotel, with spacious room. Breakfast - good selection of cold buffet. (Be careful not to order Cappuccino instead of café with milk. Same preparation, but you will be charged extra for this) Price is a bit on the higher scale

Hotel Habita is a favorite. Prefer this hotel over many others. The location, neighborhood, accessibility to best restaurants, metro nearby, as well as a low key professional staff. Great rooftop bar. Offers surrounding view of Polanco. Always planning my return before I check out.

Design is great and location very convenient. Food at the restaurant is also good but the service is unhelpful and sometimes unpolite. Personnel at the reception is cold, too junior and not welcoming. There was extra charges in the final bill and nobody apologised for the errors. made me feel they wanted to cheat with this complicated and endless bill.... More

I booked this hotel for a 8 nights stay in March 2013 due to it's location and the fact that it belongs to Leading Hotels of the World. To make a long story short, I decided to check out after one night stay because you simply cannot deal with a 5 star hotel where the front desk is attended only... More
