I arrived late at this hotel and it felt as if I was walking in to a warehouse. There is a fine line between trendy-industrial decor and let's-do-this-on-the-cheap-industrial decor. Feels dated. Room was comfortable, but a number of things did not work. No light in bathroom and hairdryer broken. They did fix these, but it would have been better if... More

Staff is not friendly or helpful. No running water in the shower the night we arrived and the morning after. The lights in the bathroom were broken and everything in the bathroom was old and falling apart. The jacuzzi was dirty and the sauna not working. The staff at the pool area unfriendly and they didn't have towels because they... More

I can highly recommend hotel habita on the basis of impeccable cleanliness from the friendly cleaning staff, but we stayed on the highest floor and on the weekends it got quite noisy from the rooftop bar above us. Luckily it closed at 2am. We did pop up for drinks occasionally during our stay and the staff recognised us each time... More

I'd give this a 3 1/2 star rating as it was better than average but a hair short of very good. Though the design of this hotel is beautiful, as is often the case with minimalism (for lack of a perfect word to describe the design) even a little wear is glaringly obvious. For example, the drywall in the bathroom... More

The location is perfect, walking distance to Chapultepec Park & in the beautiful Polanco area...all of the people working at this hotel were so kind and helpful! The breakfast is delicious but spendy. The negative is the noise factor. The hotel is on a busy street...lots of honking! The road is under construction...more noise. Plus, it's across from a restaurant whose... More

The hotel is a little 'form before function' with a modern feel making it more like you're in a piece of publicity than at a hotel. That said the rooms are spacious, clean and well stocked. The rooftop bar is certainly the stand-out feature. The area that the hotel is in offers some splendid bars and restaurants (though the roadworks... More

Its cool minimalism may not be for everyone, but design aficionados love its chic and stylish restraint. Now in its second decade, the Hotel Habita has done what few boutiques can: it has remained beautiful and elegant. Under the watchful eye of Dan Bielak, its handsome and charming manager, diligent maintenance keeps the Habita looking as clean and fresh as... More

This hotel has very pleasant staff and is in Polanco a nice part of Mexico City. However it was very noisy I could hear people in the next room coughing or drying their hair. There were also all night roadworks right outside so check before you book if they have finished.

As most of my usual hotels in Polanco were sold-out, Habita still had rooms available. It looked like a nice hotel. The first thing I found was that the streets in front of the hotel are in construction, and will be for a significant time, causing a complete chaos in the area and making it very difficult to arrive or... Very cool and chic design hotel in Mexico-City. Room was a bit small but with nice balcony. Pool Terrace and Pool Bar are really sensational and cool. Parties are taking place there quite regulary for the mexican upper-class. Hotel is located in Polanco, which can basically be seen as the mexican version of Beverly Hills. Only 20 minutes walking distance... More
