Stayed here in July 2015 for a business trip after being told it was one of the best hotels in Polanca. Maybe, one day it was but now it is giving the impression that it is struggling to survive. Rooms are badly maintained with a number of areas/items broken or damaged. TVs in two rooms i had didn't work/had no... More

My second long stay at Habita. This time three weeks so I've seen it all. I'll still come back next time I need to stay in Polanco area. Look, the place isn't a palace but it is Spartan, small and clean and everyone works hard to ensure that you are welcome and have what you need. If you like being... More

I guess they were going for a minimalist/industrial/50s mix of design. The lobby is interesting, but smells funky (like strong detergent ?) The room was clean, but looked like a dorm room. The mattress was ok, but the pillows were rock-hard. The gym has a nice view and covers the basics, but anyone at the pool bar can stare at... More

A hotel that would rather be a night club.. I arrived after a 12 hr flight to be shown to a room that stank of cigarette smoke. I asked to be moved and I was given a much smaller room with no view. As I entered the room the air con which was on freezing felt like entering a fridge.... More

We didn't stay here but visited twice for lunch. We also used the rooftop pool and loungers for the very reasonable price of a minimum bar spend. The barman was really great and brought a birthday cake out for one of our party when he realised it was her birthday. Great facilities, great cocktails and great food.

Hotel Habita is by far one of the hotels I've stayed in consistently. The location is ideal as well as for comfort. Dan, the GM at the property is quite professional and welcoming. Will ensure his staff does all they can to make a stay pleasurable. Rooms are a good size and have found all things within the room to... More

I recently had a nine day stay. I'd been at The W and was bored, looked up Habita and gave it a go. I wasn't disappointed. Yes it's right on the street in Polanco, yes it's small, yes it's a bit plain, yes the lounge is comfy for business meetings or hanging out, yes all the staff are attentive, yes... More

I arrived late at this hotel and it felt as if I was walking in to a warehouse. There is a fine line between trendy-industrial decor and let's-do-this-on-the-cheap-industrial decor. Feels dated. Room was comfortable, but a number of things did not work. No light in bathroom and hairdryer broken. They did fix these, but it would have been better if... More

Staff is not friendly or helpful. No running water in the shower the night we arrived and the morning after. The lights in the bathroom were broken and everything in the bathroom was old and falling apart. The jacuzzi was dirty and the sauna not working. The staff at the pool area unfriendly and they didn't have towels because they... More

I can highly recommend hotel habita on the basis of impeccable cleanliness from the friendly cleaning staff, but we stayed on the highest floor and on the weekends it got quite noisy from the rooftop bar above us. Luckily it closed at 2am. We did pop up for drinks occasionally during our stay and the staff recognised us each time... More
