We've stayed at Hotel Milan several times and have never left a review; it's our go-to place to stay in Mexico City because of it's perfect location on Obregon and it's really good price. Rooms aren't fancy and could be considered on the smaller side, but are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful yet unassuming, and on... More

Not here. As great a location, as clean and modern and as reasonably-priced as this hotel is, it still suffers from the same structural oversights that its neighbor (Four Points Sheraton) down the street does. After coming here many times we can still not find a room that does not have the continual noise from a vibrating exhaust fan from... More

Very well located hotel at the center of the Roma neighborhood. Clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but a good place to rest in a secure and nice location. I hope the hotel maintains the rates as they are very affordable. It also has a parking lot which is very handy if you rent a car.

Breakfast is not included, and no minibar in the room, so you can't even have a cold glass of water without leaving the hotel. Breakfast is an extra charge of 10 dolars. Bed kingsize is nice but the sheets don't fit it as you can see in the photos I sent. Room has a very tiny window. I wouldn't stay... More

This hotel definitely comes under the heading of "Cheap and Cheerful" Rooms of all shapes and sizes make it a little difficult to give an overall review. Front desk can be a bit grumpy but on other occasions are happy. Generally a bit inconsistent. But I like it.

Located right on Obregon, this hotel is perfect - reasonable price, easy to walk to restaurants and very comfortable. When we were there the Wi Fi was spotty, and for 24 hours only worked in the lobby. This might be the case always, the staff at the front desk said they were having problems, and that it would be fixed... More

The hotel is wonderfully sited in boisterous Colonia Roma, near restaurants, galleries and transportation. the rooms are well done for the price and the restaurant is adequate for coffee/breakfast. the Avenida Obregon always features an art/cultural exhibit, and this visit was no exception with a fascinating National Geographic exhibit. We stayed at the Milan several times and will return again.

I found the Hotel Milan a very nice hotel, and the fact that the rooms were cheap was a complete bonus! The rooms are small but have recently been updated in a modern Italian style. All rooms have ceiling fans and windows that open for cool air. Large TV's are nice for those who want them; I didn't as I... More

Hotel Milan is in a perfect location in Colonia Roma. Staff are relatively helpful and speak good English. Whilst very clean, the rooms are dated and tiny with very little fresh air. Walls are also paper thin and if you have a pair of walruses mating in the next room from 4 til 6am this can be quite problematic (room... More

Staying in Roma

Neighborhood Profile
Roma
Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even private residences are on beautiful display when walking through Colima street to do some necessary shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch cafés, gourmet restaurants and food markets all around will surely catch your senses by surprise.
