I had a late night arrival at the hotel at 2 a.m. Thanks G... for organising this. The check out was a breeze. The rooms are smaller to what I am used, but was more than an adequate in meeting my needs. No view, but met my purposes for the travel. The staff are generally helpful. Special thanks to R...... Small, but adequate room. Close to subway and MB stop. Lots of places to eat near the hotel. You get what you pay for. If you want big and fancy, stay at a more expensive hotel. No complaints; we got what we paid for, a clean room and a bed to sleep in after long days of sight seeing. I... More

I was ready to give this place three stars even though the room was old and the bathroom was shabby, but we realized that we also got bed bugs from them. We stayed three nights on the 7th floor, and the second morning after having had the bites I checked the bed and found one bug right on the bed... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Marlow. It is very convenient to the center of Mexico City. The room is adequate, not large but not too small. The bathroom is modern with a good shower, good water pressure. There was a safe in the room, a desk and enough room to store my clothes. The bed was comfotrtable. Yes... More

I booked the executive single room on Tripadvisor, the most expensive single room, and thought I would have some space to host my friends a bit. However, when I checked in, there was only one tiny room. On the second day, the manager told me all single rooms were the same. The reservation which went through to their system actually... More

After numerous stays over 20 years, we just had our worst visit here. Frrst night they put us in a tiny room with windows at ceiling, a noisey fan and stairs up to the bathroom. Their Executive Double. Front desk said that's all they had. Lo & behold, at 10 am next day, we got a double bed room with... More

an average hotel (clean) in a very good location for visiting the old center ,but just that..... terrible breakfast not in the room price ( just go outside and you'll find thousands of good places) ,useless staff ( everything could be done 'later, please), and very very small bed. asked sometimes for a taxi and the price was simply twice that... Place was clean and the staff was friendly! Wi-Fi worked just fine. Breakfast was very good. Close to a walking/shopping area and the best tacos I ever had. Would stay here again in a second!!! Great job!

Great hotel, staff were very helpful and spoke English. This is a lovely hotel and although the street may not look great it is only a few minutes walk from the Centro Historico with lots of Mexico City's main attractions just a short walk away. Great breakfast also included during my stay. Would definitely stay here again when I return... More

This clean, friendly, well-priced hotel is perfectly situated to walk to many of Mexico City's historic sites and a myriad of traditional and modern restaurants! Start the day lounging on the rooftop and return after a long day to enjoy a drink at the casual bar.

Staying in Alameda

Neighborhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
