The room was fine, other than the wifi. If it cuts out right away, ask for a new room because it'll continue to cut out regularly for your entire stay. It works perfectly closer to the center of the hotel. They frequently had front desk staff working that didn't speak English at all, but it's Mexico so that's on me... More

I had had a terrible experience in another hotel so I booked in here for the night and the service and attention couldn't have been better!!! The valets and reception staff were especially lovely. The room was large with a fantastic view and very well located. A great experience!

Good hotel, we spend one night. Located good, but not in the center. If you want to have city tour - this is not correct place. For one night stop on the way back form Mexico - was good. We didn-t use public transport, used taxy to go to Polanco, Condesa around. Besides that it was renovation in the hotel... More

The rooms are well appointed, with good bedrooms and comfortable beds. Front desk service was average. Juding by other reviewers, the restaurant may have been renovated. When I was there, it was very dark and simple. The food was OK. Lots of mexican options. I don't like spicy food for breakfast. Wifi was good enough to work.

If you use the bus system, the hotel is directly across from a Metrobus station on Cuahuatemoc. A cross-town electric bus to the Condesa area is a block away. Metro is three block, behind Sanborns. Rooms are quite nice, Maid service excellent. Rooms are quiet except those facing the front. Brand new restaurant is quite nice. Downside: No real guest... More

The location is good, close to a small mall, lots of small restaurans, there is a parking lot at no charge, and the staff is very helpfull, the breakfest was nice, very tipical, and the shower had good water pressure.

My room was clean, new appliances and a nice bathroom. My bed was decent. We ordered room service one night and I had the queso fundido with chorizo and my husband had the chicken soup and it was good. The bar was not busy and we had one drink. The bartender was very nice. For the price I paid, I... More

Only stayed one night, arrived very late, so didn't have much service but all was average and no problems really. It's a no frills place and therefore it's good for the value, good location and everything worked so no complaints.

Great staff, very helpful and accommodating. Excellent location near to restaurants in Colonia Roma and Condesa. Hotel had onsite taxi service, convenience stores right across the street and a Sanborns only 2 block away with secure ATM. Very safe neighborhood; would stay there again when traveling to Mexico City.

I stayed at the Hotel Marbella from Thursday 2/12 thru Sunday 2/15. The stay was quite enjoyable. The hotel is comfortable with nice rooms. It is a fine place to stay for a brief visit. The staff (especially Omar) were quite helpful with information and while they spoke some English, they were able to put up with my bad Spanish.... More

Staying in Roma

Neighborhood Profile
Roma
Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even private residences are on beautiful display when walking through Colima street to do some necessary shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch cafés, gourmet restaurants and food markets all around will surely catch your senses by surprise.
