We spent a week at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke English. They gave good guidance on what to do while we were in Mexico City and how to get around. The room was very clean and bottled water was provided. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have stayed in for a hotel of this... more

We stayed at this hotel last year for one week, we came from Cancun to Mexico city to the Madonna`s Concert on Nov 29th 2008. We were a large group of friends and I have to say we are GAYS. Before we arrive we were looking for a Gay Friendly hotel and this definitely is the best choice. Why? 1.It... more

I stayed in Hotel Del Principado for 4nights on my first visit to Mexico City. From the outside the hotel doesnt look that impressive but its a different story once you get inside. Rooms are very comfortable with lots of space, bathrooms were also large. What really suprised me is just how quiet the hotel is, considering you are only... more

I've lost count of the number of times I've stayed here--individually, as a director for study abroad, and with a small group of friends. it's my home when I'm in Mexico City. The staff always greet me like an old friend, even when a year has passed. They go out of their way to make sure that my stay goes... more

This is the type of Hotel that makes your vacation all the more enjoyable. For like $60 you get a clean hotel, fantastic breakfast buffet, and a safe area that is very convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! more

The price and location can not be beat, Between two metro stops as well as the buses on Insurgentes and Paseo de la Reforma. Close to Chapultepec, Polanco, Roma, Centro Historico and right outside of the Zona Rosa. The area is safe IMO, never felt uncomfortable or threatened. The rooms are basic, very clean and comfortable. The staff is very... more

Stayed here for one week in January. We paid AUD$32.00 per night for a king bedded room. Room is basic, but very clean. Bathroom was large and clean. We were sort of in the middle of the hotel on the 3rd floor with a view of the fire stairs. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a safe... more

As many reviewers have noted, this hotel is a bargain. It definitely was satisfactory and worth the price; I would stay there again. That said, there are areas where the hotel really needs to improve. Most of the points are minor, but they added up and really detracted from our stay. For example, on the hotel website, the following amenities... more

he hotel is a hidden treasure for budget minded travelers. First of all, it is located very close (a 3-4 minute walk) to Zona Rosa, an area with lots of bars, clubs, and restaurants. It is considered to be a safe area too. Lots of people can be seen walking down the streets very late at night. Zona Rosa is... more
