Like other reviewers mention, Castropol is in a great location. It also has an excellent well priced restaurant with cheap cervezas. Its main issue is noise. The doors really clang and sound seems to echo around the entire hotel so take ear plugs. They have good security there so that is another tick.

Thank you very much for your review! We are glad you confirm other reviews about the location, it is really well located for a fair price. About noise, we can´t help that some other clients close their door a bit more loudly than others but we are thinking of ways that we as an hotel can reduce noise. Hope to... More

Hotel is in a great location in the heart of Centro (downtown). Walking distance to historic Zocalo area and Regina (pedestrian street which has many restaurants). There are convenient Metro (subway) entrances for Line 1 & 2 and Metrobus stops Line 4. Felt safe in the area the hotel had security cameras which they monitor each floor and the City... More

Close to subway and main square. The staff went out of their way to help me. Rooms are not air conditioned, but I asked for a fan and thst totally did the trick. On site restaurant was good. The downside: the ceiling leaked in the bathroom. The toilet was difficult to flush, and the shower was awkward (water stream small,... More

The rooms aren't beautiful, and you won't be receiving lively and informative tips about the city from staff or customers. However, the rooms are large, the bed is comfy and everything worked for us. Perferctly fine, and a great location for a cheap place.

the location and the services in the hotel are great. Staff couldnt do more for you The restaurante is great and good service. The only complain is the rooms dont have ac and they dont have screens on the windows either So you either get hot, or get a breeze with mosquitoes

The room was grungy and the sheets of both beds had hair on them as if they had not be laundered. The staff were OK and allowed me to park in the garage with no additional charges.
