Good service- nice rooms...I always stay in a "28" room 1528, 1628, 1728, etc. They have a "garden View" facing - shoudl be $20 to airport in AM by taxi 20 mins from polanco if you have good traffic (60 mins if not) more

I work for myself and I don't have a lavish corporate expense account so value is important to me. In this case the expedia site mentioned complimentary internet and gym. On arriving at the hotel I found that neither was... more

I was robbed in this hotel aprox 10.000USD while I was on a bussinnes trip. The staff from reception gave a second key of my room to an stranger, who stole almost all my belongings on the room. The only detail they have was to come with us to the police, I guess they wanted to have under control our... more

This was our first trip to Mexico City. Given the reports of swine flu, drug cartel decapitations and earthquakes we decided to begin the adventure with a modern hotel stay. The price was right and the hotel was located beautifully. Mexico City was safe and vibrant. Diego Rivera's exquisite mural of the Alameda was right across the street and it... more

Overall this is a very good hotel in an excellent location for tourists. The service overall is excellent and the hotel offers a range of restaurants to suit most tastes. Last year when I stayed here I had a problem with the Concierge – this year I had two problems – it’s the only aspect of the hotel that I... more

We stayed here during the height of the swine flu outbreak - 25 April until 29 April 2009. Found hotel to be of high standard, truly 5*, very comfortable rooms, which were large and had comfortable beds. Only complaint was the aircon which was very loud and did not seem to ever switch off when the desired room temperature had... more

The first thing to realise is that this is a business hotel, so expect to see lots of people in suits with laptops and mobiles about, but the weekend rates drop massively when a more relaxed clientelle come in. We stayed Fri-Mon and got the chance to see both types of people in the hotel. Check in was swift and... more

I stayed 2 nights and have to say it's a lovely hotel, well located in the historical district. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Zucalo (main square where the Metropolitan Cathedral which houses the black marble statue of Jesus in Mexico and National Palace which houses Diego Rivera's wonderful murals). The staff was great, and I ate many... more
