I chose the hotel based on the name and the location. Unfortunately, the experience was very negative. Upon arrival, I had a meeting in the coffee shop on the ground floor and it took ages to be served coffee. The waiter mentioned that the coffee making machine was on the 10th floor, and that's why it was taking them so... More

Having stayed at a number of Howard Johnson resorts in the US on tour, I took reassurance in the name and booked for myself a couple of clients to stay here whilst in Mexico City on business. The prices should have been a clear warning sign, but I put my trust in the brand. We had 3 double rooms booked.... More

Omg this was a bad one ...... No idea where to start. I arrived at 6pm ,that is why i did not want to pay a better place ,and the rooms were still dirty. And wooosh you get what you pay for. Not much ! The location behind my first choice, the Hilton is excellent ...but that's about it.But wait, there... More

Great location and very accommodating staff but the Internet rarely worked in the room. They were very apologetic but didn't seem in any hurry to fix it. On top of that, the TV had no cable channels so no programs in English, which would have been fine had we had Internet and could watch shows on Netflix or whatever.

This was my second stay at this hotel. First stay 2 years ago. First stay the hotel was good and nice so decided to go there again. The maid service wasn't good. Had to ask for things . It only had one elevator working . Their excuse construction. They had been having constructions once the first time I was there.... More

In 2013 the hotel was renovated. The new rooms are quite ok. Food - nothing special, very simple, service just ok. There is small bar in the hotel. The storngest point of the hotel is its location. The hotel is located about 100 meters from the metro station Juarez and metrobus. Just 2 minutes walking from the hotel is Alameda... More

Hotel at the safe location (very close to the center). Affordable. It's close to two metro stops, a short walk to Zocalo, and close to Alameda Park. Rooms clean and lately renovated. Corridors not. Restaurant poor, it is better to eat dinner downtown. Breakfast is ok. - mexican style. Staff king and helpful. Good relation price to value. I would... More

At arrival, they didn't have record of our reservation, but we got our room anyway without problem. Stayed for 7 nights, got complimentary continental breakfast (toast, coffee and OJ) There is remodeling construction going on and noise during the day since about 8 am. Very good value and location, very safe zone one block from Alameda park.

We like a place to stay where we sleep, shower, and stash our stuff, in a place that is safe and affordable. This hotel was perfect for us. It's close to two metro stops, a short walk to Zocalo, and close to Alameda Park. The elevator got stuck when we tried it for the first time, and I think it's... More

The hotel is near Alameda Park, a short walk from the historic centre, and all the main attractions. The newly renovated rooms look good but have paper thin walls and single glazing, so let through all the noise from the corridors and street. Breakfast is good, wireless internet is free but uselessly slow (always <20kb/s, usually <1kb/s for the four... More
