This is a great hotel in a safe, centrally located area of Mexico City within walking distance of the Zocalo and Chapultepec The rooms are large, clean and well maintained and the staff was helpful and friendly. We were there two nights. June 20 & 21, 2006. The place is clean, the staff friendly and the restaurant fair. The only bad part for us was that my daugther got sick, the reception recomended a medical doctor who was a real quack! Unidad Medica Turistica y Familiar. That was a real scam! We stayed at the Hotel Sevilla for 2 weeks, approx. 2 years ago. The room was huge (two queen sized beds, a seating area w/ couch and chair, coffee table) and very comfortable. The best part was the service we received. The waiters in the small restaurant got to know us and even tried to anticipate our order. They prided... more
