The good news: the location of the Fiesta American Grand Chapultepec is perfect, close to the restaurants of Polanco and Condesa. My room was extremely comfortable. Pay a little extra for an upgrade to a larger room with a view overlooking Chapultepec Park and you won't feel as if you are overnighting in a city of 23 million souls. I... more

First, the positives. A clean and spacious room with a stunning view of Chapultepec castle. Very friendly staff. Convenient to Chapultepec Park and its various attractions. A decent fitness center, with a 19th floor view, no less. But there are definite negatives. The location is not convenient to anything except the park. It's an uncomfortably long and complicated walk to... more

We stayed here for six nights on Easter Week. This hotel is the top property of the "Fiesta Americana" chain in Mexico City. It is located a half block from the Reforma Avenue, accross the street from Chapultepec Park, and equidistant from the "Zona Rosa" and fashionable "Polanco" neighborhoods. It's high points are the excellent service from all the staff,... more

I would like to complain about the extremely poor service my family (2 adults and 2 children) received upon arriving at the hotel, after booking a room in the Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec on-line and having the reservation confirmed by Credit Card. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 7pm to find that the room we had booked with two... more

I just returned from Mexico city where I stayed at this hotel and was totally pleased with the sevrice. I arrived late at noght by and by the time I recived my reciept from the taxi, the porter had already noted my name from my bags. After the 10 second walk to the front desk, the attendant already had my... more

Stayed here in late September for my wife's birthday. The concierge (Arturo) helped plan a surprise for her, by having the room filled with ballons, flowers and a cake. It was awesome and he did a great job. I can't say enough nice things about all the staff, and the concierge in particular. However, the hotel is in truth, just... more

I discovered this hotel on Expedia in January, and since then I have returned about six times to this hotel. I do continue to book through Expedia, because the rates are considerably discounted. Service: excellent in all areas of the hotel. Business facilities: good wireless and LAN connections in each room. Good business center facilities for copying or printing. Meeting... more

Stayed here or 1 night in March. A very nice hotel located at the edge of the park. There is not too many restaurants within walking distace of the hotel. Rooms were very large and looked newly renovated. Used the health club at the top of th ehotel and it was not large but had good facilities. A minus however... more

My first business trip to Mexico City, April 2-5. A colleague had recommended the Fiesta Americana and I was not at all disappointed. I had a junior suite that over looked Chapultepec Park. The room was clean, quiet and very confortable. I found the staff to be very helpful and eager to please. The hotel was within walking distance of... more

We picked this hotel because of its location and great value. It is a short walk from the Museums of Anthropology and Modern Art, both great sites. Also, the Turibus stop is across the street, one block away. The accomodations were wonderful: clean, spacious, comfortable rooms; health spa; well equiped business center. A surprise was the great restaurant: apparently it... more
