The hotel was said to be newly restored. That is true ... they tried their best and it was okay ( not high class, but equipped with new stuff and in a nice way ). BUT the work on the restaurant was still going on .. it was so noisy that during the day it was better not to stay... More

The chemical smell of air freshener in our room was overwhelming. The lighting in the bedroom was so poor that it was impossible to do anything other than unpack bags by the light of 40 watt wall sconces. The beds were so hard, it was like sleeping on a concrete floor. Desk personnel in the evening were both efficient and... More

We took the wife's parents and booked 2 villas. One was the hillside and the other the river. Both were fabulous. From the pick up at the airport to being dropped back this was the one experience where it is difficult to imagine how the resort or the staff could have been improved. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and... More

Unfriendly Staff. we booked tje hotel 6 months before we arrived and when we got there they told us there was no booking. After a couple of hours we finally got our room. We had to make several phonecalls to sweden on our own cellphone! The room was prepaid! The room was terrible! Bedbugs, dirty carpets and dust everywhere. It... More

I was a little nervous about turning up to this hotel as I had read one or two of the reviews on this site, but I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about!! We were picked up from the airport by a hotel car - no problems at all. Upon arriving we were put into a large room... More

This is my second stay here. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional. Staff helpful with suggestions on where to eat, etc. Faces a delightful park with fountain. Restaurants and cafes abound. Since I was last here in fall of 2009, two new bookstores have opened up. Great neighborhood for walking. Can also explore La Condesa, nearby. A good launching pad... More

With my wife the first night, I stayed another 4 nights in this clean, quiet hotel in the Roma area. The location is near restaurants and shopping, with 2 Metro stops each about 8 blocks away. For the price, this is a very good value. The staff was very helpful for advice and directions. I would certainly stay again, and... More

This place was such a dump that I did not stay (I went to the Maria Cristina instead). The bed was rock hard, the furnishings were incredibly dated. I will say it was clean, but that's about it. More

TV did not work, remote did not work, cable did not work, very dark room and washroom light did not work. Service pretty poor. Did not have the room i paid so they downgrade me instead of upgrade me. They did not reimburse me the money even if purchased many nights in advance. I left to other hotel and lost... More

I had a good experience here. I felt safe in the hotel, neighborhood, and surrounding areas. Very close to La Condesa which is one of my favorite locations in the city (I used to live in Mexico City). Lots of eating options, cafes, and entertainment around. The hotel itself is across from a park which is nice. I received a... More
