I felt very welcomed at checkin. I paid 9 USD a night for it. It included sheets, a towel, breakfast and dinner. It wasn't the cleanest hostel, but it wasn't dirty. My room only had 4 beds in it, so it was fairly quite. The mattresses were plastic, so it was a little noisy when someone turned My 4-bed room... More

Stayed 8 days. Thank you Hector for the wonderful service and attention to my several changes and requests. The staff (both at the reception and dining area) are helpful, friendly and fun. Location is great, just two roads away from the zocalo. A famous cantina is on the same street, just metres away. street food abound. Breakfast and dinner are... More

Stayed one night here when the place I usually stay in was fully booked. It was filthy. In fairness it was late afternoon when I checked in and had probably been cleaned much earlier. There was a ratton in my room, and when I informed reception ,I was told that It was my problem only because I was a Gringo.... More

Lovely hostel and beautifully located, super near the zocalo We had a HUGE room with private kitchen, living room and bathroom - which was daily cleaned. There are also dorms facing the stairways, seemed clean and tidy. Rooftop terrace for breakfast and evening drinks is lovely.

Sure, the internet was a bit hit and miss and there wasn't much luxury to it, but when you're travelling on a budget, cleanliness, hot water and a warm smile go a long way.... More
