We stayed for 3 nights and it was easy access to everyting in the central part of the city. I would not recommend the resturant for other than breakfast. Very helpful staff in planning daily trips to different points of interest. The Hotel had been recently renovated but in the style of Mexico and very tastefully done. The rooms were... more

We stayed on the first floor facing cinqo de mayo street (not the main square Zocalo) and it was very noisy. Traffic noise during the day, and for some strange reason every morning around 5 a.m a clanky noise, that sounded like they were hauling something up outside our window. The room was cute and clean, with TV, noisy air... more

When we got to the hotel they made us wait more than 3 hours for check in, telling us every 15 min. to wait another 15 min., Also we put the privacy sign at the door, went to have breakfast and the room service went inside anyway. I felt that they didnt respect my privacy. Also at night time I... more

We stayed for 4 nights and took the hotel as a basis to discover the city and the surroundings. Check in was friendly as was all the staff. The first room we had was on the small side and the biggest disadvantage was that it was towards the street i.e. it was pretty loud. But we could move (staff was... more

We stayed here two nights. The hotel is located right at Constitution Plaza, across from the Metropolitan Cathedral. We picked it because of the downtown location. The hotel staff is very friendly and helps you with your every request. The restaurant on the 6th floor terrace has a good view of the city and the Plaza. They were having a... more

I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend for 3 days at the end of December. The room was clean, but a little bit too small. The location and the view from the balcony are fantastic. The staff was not so friendly and it was impossible to exchange money. But for 3 days it is good. more

An excellent place to stay if you are a monk. Our room was tiny and bare. When we ran out of bottled water I had to go down to the front desk. The room was spotless but the price was high when compared to Hotel Catedral or Gillow. We left after the first night. more

We were there for 2 nights right before Christmas and it was very busy. The staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly. The internet service was great. I would be willing to stay there again but NOT at Christmastime. We all Loved the breakfast on the balcony.... more

This place is perfect for tourists looking to explore the city. Definitely worth paying that little bit extra for one of the rooms with a view onto the square - you can see the flag going up and down (including ceremony and army) each day. Breakfast on the balcony is a lovely start to the day. The food is good... more

The Holiday Inn Zocalo has an excellent location and a friendly staff. I woudl qualify the rooms as OK, clean and fine but small and not particularly luxurious. Lookout if you need anything though. The staff is very friendly, butcfrequently seemed unable oto solve small problems such as the ATM being out of cash (I just wanted to know where... more
