First off, it's a great location but that's the high point of the hotel. The reception staff tried to over charge me on arrival. My room was cold and extremely noisy. Add this to the extremely hard bed and it made for practically no sleep any night. The hotel is a lot older than it seems but I guess that's... More

We booked this hotel through Expedia and the photos are really nice, spacious rooms, lovely views - the works. The price was great, around US$60 but I thought it was because we had a discount because of flights booked through the same site. Now, I regret that I didn't take photos of the actual room so travelers can compare. It... More

We booked this hotel thru a traveling website based on the wonderful pictures and description of the rooms. We booked the "European Suite" for some $49 per night. The European Suite showed a full kitchenette, queen bed, shower/tub, separate living and dining area and what caught my eye was the awesome view of the Angel of Independence and the city.... More

I stayed in the property for few months when I went to Mexico for work. The location is the biggest plus for the hotel. From the hotel, you can see the Angel of Independence. The location is ultra-secure I would say; in fact contrary to the information the internet is flooded with this central place of Mexico City is very... More

Worst place I stayed for this price. Wrong advertisment, rooms are old, bed is rock hard, wifi is real slow, AC does not work (checked 3 rooms, all broken), staff is not friendly at all, they didn't care about broken AC. Would call this a one star hotel.

the location, w the exception of not being close to a metro was great. I know about the gay zone close by, but considering the immense size of the city, i saw MUCH less of that than i expected. just like any other big city, but it wasnt a problem. the bus did go around frequently. i did ride it... Dated, noisy, not clean... I stayed right now for 5 days in this hotel. No idea really where to start. I got it cheap so i should not be to choosy i guess. I was too cheap to pay the 300 us per night at the hilton so this is what you get for being cheap:) . Rooms: big, kind of cozy but... More

You cannot beat the location, and unless you are looking for US type luxury, this place is great. For $55 a night we got a small suite (with kitchenette), a table, couch, and bed. There was plenty of room - and as you will see the views were fantasitc! The bed was pretty darn hard, but world travelling has surprises.... More

Let me first say that you cant get a hotel in a better location than this for the same budget. The indpendence square (circle) in just 100 yards away. The hop on hop off bus stops there. Museums like anthropology and the zoo etc are a pleasant 30-40 mins walk. The no. of restaurants on either side of the hotel are... More
