I have stayed in this hotel several times in the past when it used to belong to Grand Melia and I actually booked it due to its SPA...after a +12 hr journey from Europe and a jet-lag I was hoping to reserve a nice massage but the SPA was closed for rennovation. (this can happen and I understand) POSITIVES: the... More

A good location Centro Historico, the lobby still maintains some of that 80's glam with glass elevators and shiny marble. Once you zoomed up to your room though, the unforgiving ravages of time show only to glaringly - stained carpets and walls, peeling wallpaper and a bathroom that's only a poor shadow of its former self. But again, location is... More

Was concerned about the lukewarm reviews. But I would definitely stay again. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable. Loved the big walk in shower. There was a problem with the door lock and that was quickly resolved. The staff was helpful.

On a business trip, stayed 2 nights. Other hotels in the area were booked or had some astronomical price. This hotel proved to be a good option. You can't beat the location. the facilities are nice and it has a decent price. Cost-Benefit this is a great place. Breakfast was good and my room was very nice and clean. I... More

I've stayed there twice, both times I've had issues with room cleanliness and appearance, I choose it because of the staffs attention to assist and make the stay pleasent. On both occasions I have had to switch rooms several times. Location is great and safe area. The manager Omsheila has been the one of most help during my last stay.... More

When you look at the pictures from other guests...well...it's the sad truth! Brown water, only dripping water in the shower ,shabby furniture, toilet flush not working at night etc. Then you have to complain at the reception...to insist that the room is awfull and that you have to get pain and suffering money to stay in that room. With good luck... More

I stayed at this hotel for a week and soon after check-in realized the incompetence of the staff. Clearly the photos of the establishment are misleading. Noise level was high with renovations on upper floors, traffic, and construction across the road. As I unpacked I noticed that the rug was filthy and all the "dazzle" and bathroom was decorated with... More

My first thought…Hmmm the lobby is interesting. The hotel is a bit older. Not so modern. The concierge gave us a room on the 16th floor. At first, we thought “Wow, it is high! We must have a great view.” The view we actually had was of the back of the hotel, which was a little depressing. At night, around... More

First, let me start by saying this hotel is beautiful. It's not a bad place to stay. With that said, the customer service is subpar. I will say also that the room had spotty running hot water which made for uncomfortable showers. The beds are decent and comfortable. Our room had a decent view, but nothing spectacular. The internet connection... More

The hotel itself is very impressive: a vast lobby and glass elevators with a stomach-lurching view all the way up to the 20th floor. We had booked an “Altitude” room, a junior suite, and were pleased with the size of the room. The bed was very comfortable and extremely clean. The "Happy Hour" in the evening was great and the...
