Oh dear, these folks are caught between a rock and a hard place. The hotel may well have been grand at some point in time (around the time Columbus checked in?) but not so now. The lobby area has that feel of a top end 5 star hotel but everything else spoils the façade. What you need to know: The... More

We booked 12 nights at this hotel thru Travelocity, as well as upgraded to an executive room because we needed two beds. At the time of check in, we asked if we could get two beds in the Junior suit and Mr. Ignacio said no problem,. We confirmed it was going to be the same price as the one quoted... More

I booked a 10 day trip to Mexico city to get away for Spring break. I understood that I was coming to the City and no a resort so I looked for a hotel with good pool/spa facilities. I came across the Krystal Grand Reforma Uno. Booking in a hurry I failed to look at the previous experiences people had... More

No business facilities available due to construction. Front desk personnel very poor service. Although rooms were available prior to the 3 pm check-in the lady I dealt with at the front desk was less than welcoming and literally made me wait until 3pm. Later when I needed concierge assistance he pointed to the front desk saying they could help me.... More

The hotel did NOT advertise that it was under construction. Nor did they say that the gym facilities would not be open. The rate was way overpriced given the above. When asked about the oversight, the hotel acted surprised and ceased to do anything to rectify the situation. Aside from this, the hotel was fine with ok but dated facilities.

They are making (badly needed) renovations at this hotel. The rooms are still old 1970's decor The water ran from scalding hot to super hot there was practically no cold water they need to fix that ASAP they have the nicest marble bathroom and you can hardly take a shower the water is so hot I stayed here hoping to... I have stayed in this hotel several times in the past when it used to belong to Grand Melia and I actually booked it due to its SPA...after a +12 hr journey from Europe and a jet-lag I was hoping to reserve a nice massage but the SPA was closed for rennovation. (this can happen and I understand) POSITIVES: the... More

A good location Centro Historico, the lobby still maintains some of that 80's glam with glass elevators and shiny marble. Once you zoomed up to your room though, the unforgiving ravages of time show only to glaringly - stained carpets and walls, peeling wallpaper and a bathroom that's only a poor shadow of its former self. But again, location is... More

Was concerned about the lukewarm reviews. But I would definitely stay again. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable. Loved the big walk in shower. There was a problem with the door lock and that was quickly resolved. The staff was helpful.

On a business trip, stayed 2 nights. Other hotels in the area were booked or had some astronomical price. This hotel proved to be a good option. You can't beat the location. the facilities are nice and it has a decent price. Cost-Benefit this is a great place. Breakfast was good and my room was very nice and clean. I... More
