The sturdy Krystal Grand is in a good location, in what seems to be a business-district kind of area. You can walk to the Zocalo in around 20 minutes, if you can cross the six-lane Reforma without being scythed down by speeding motorists. Rooms are a decent size, clean, and well equipped, although the whole place looks like it could... More

I mean, it's hard to judge being in a foreign country and culture. The decor is a step back to the 80s Vegas. When was the last time you saw a dark green marble everywhere in the bath. Golden wallpaper with lots of mirrors and heavy gold framed ornaments. It's as if they are trying so hard to be elegant... More

It was my first time in Mexico and I decided to get a hotel near the historic center you know : el socalo, Plaza Garibaldi etc. I got the altitude services, and even when I did not used them that much, the features that I did use, the services where excellent. I'm from Puerto Rico, so I'm a native Spanish... More

Overall I was happy with my stay at Krystal Uno. This is a well-located hotel with an impressive lobby, and the price was right. As most reviewers pointed out, the rooms are fairly dated. But the one I stayed in was large, comfortable and clean. And the view is great from upper floors. I recommend staying here if you get... More

I stayed at the Krystal Grand for 3 nights as part of a business trip. The hotel looks nice in the common areas but the rooms are dated. I considered two, one had the old analog TV, a scratched desk and a stained fabric loveseat. The one I ended up staying was better, but the wallpaper was peeling off under... More

So bad it was almost comedy - hotel has recently changed management, and it is appalling. Looks fancy on the outside, but there it ends. I was there on a business trip for a conference - when I arrived after a late flight at 11pm they claimed that my booking had expired, as they had written the date incorrectly. I... More

The hotel is in a nice, safe area and while it leans more towards business travelers, I preferred its location to the ones in the historic district where it seems to get seedy at night. It's still within reasonable walking distance to the historic district so we did just that. It's also conveniently close to the metro. The staff was... More

This hotel is excellent for short business trips to Mexico City. Staff is very helpful and speak English. The hotel decor is beginning to show signs of age, the rooms even though they are big, need renovations. The suites are large, and the balcony suites offer great views of the city. For the price around 100 US dollars its a... More

The hotel is very nice place. The staff was great. Some of the staff spoke English which was helpful for me. I upgraded to the Executive level. It was worth the extra cost. In my first room WiFi signal was bad. It was the last room at the end of the floor. I was moved to the middle where the... More
