We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of a long vacation. It was in a good location and with a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel is a boutique and was nicely decorated but the accommodations are better suited for a shorter trip. It would be a good hotel for a business trip.

Everyone at Las Alcobas made me feel at home, the food was great, it was quiet, comfortable and very well located. The choice and quality of restaurants within walking distance was awesome. They had quite a few details that just make a big difference, such as lending me an umbrella when I was heading out and it was raining. I... More

The hotel is small and located in one of the best areas of town (embassy district) or Polancita. Walking distance to some great restaurant, bars and shopping as well as the national museum. The hotel provides great service with knowledgeable concierges. One example, I called up the concierge to find out where I can buy a bottle of maestro dobel... More

Amazing service that my husband and I can't stop raving about to our friends in NYC! The start to our adventure was during Memorial Day where we ended up missing our flight due to the horrible traffic in NYC, made worse by peak travel season. Disappointed as we already pre-paid for our hotel, we contacted the hotel to inform them... More

I have been staying in Mexico City for years, including the name hotels that are near to Las Alcolbas. No hotel that I have used in Mexico City come close to the quality, value and friendliness of this hidden gem. I made a smooth transition from two weeks of mission work in Central America to business meetings in Mexico.

From the moment we walked in everyone treated us like a guest in their home. The rooms were modern and incredibly well appointed. Little touches like complimentary local snacks in the mini bar were quite nice too. Michael the manager in particular went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. If you are debating between one... More

A luxury boutique hotel in Polanco. Perfectly located, good service, great design and luxury rooms. The breakfast is a must, it's a menu not a buffet, the fruit salad is one of the best I had, seems easy to do but not; soy milk availabble, good bread, nicely decorated breakfast room. A great place to stay in Mexico City

This is my perfect hotel. Small, boutique, intimate with lovely rooms and public spaces. Excellent restaurant and breakfast room. As good as the physical space is, the service is even better. This is just a perfect little haven in a fabulous neighborhood! XTRA BONUS: they are opening in Napa this year!

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is a beautiful medium sized hotel in a lovely area close to parks and great restaurants. I travel more than 30 times a year (for work and pleasure), usually staying in 5 star properties or upmarket boutique hotels and I have never received such exceptional service as I experienced from this hotel....
