We recently spent 4 days in Mexico City and was lucky enough to stay at El Patio 77 in the Oaxaca room. Both the room and private bathroom were larger than we expected and were comfortable with french doors and a small balcony. It got a bit boisterous (it was the weekend) on our street but we still slept soundly... More

We loved this place, especially the welcome and gratiousness of Diego, born to work in this industry. Thank you so much. This establishment really completed our new found love for Mexico City, the great food, incredible art & craft. Diego provided so much valuable advice and help, we are so grateful. See you again soon.

We loved El Patio. Great host (Diego) who speaks about 5 languages...The room was gorgeous, done with excellent taste. The bathroom was equally beautiful and soap was provided as water is recycled. The Breakfast was just right, quesadillas and fruit and coffee. A bit of a walk to metro station, but not too much. If we could have afforded it,... More

El Patio 77 was the best played my partner and I stayed in Mexico. We were greeted so warmly by Annika and Diego after a long flight from Australia. The rooms were beautifully fitted out and decorated with a high level of artistic detail. El Patio offered more than just a place to stay, we felt as if we were... More

I was in Mexico City recently for work and had the good fortune to stay at Patio 77. What a wonderful experience. The room was large, well-furnished, comfortable and clean. I started each day with a great breakfast of fresh fruit, fruit juice, fairtrade coffee and a hot dish that was different each day. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and... More

I stayed there last month for 3 nights.. The place was so relaxed, if you are looking for calm and peace. I enjoyed my whole stay and didn't want to leave. The house is small but has everything to make you feel welcome including the stuff who were really friendly at all times. I found so useful the information they... More

Tucked away in tranquil San Rafael, Patio 77 is a gem. Annika and Diego, along with the kitchen staff were so welcoming and hospitable. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated and cared for-- think minimalist meets mystic Mexico. Unfamiliar with San Rafael, we were concerned we would be far away from everything, but at Patio 77, one has easy... More

For all of you who aren’t familiar with El Patio 77 and share the ideology and interest in small tranquil boutique hotels to escape the clichés and buzz of the corporate hotel world, you are on the right track! Strangely enough, from the first moment I entered the tall gates of the grandiose old Spanish colonial building in which El... More

An absolute pleasure. The whole experience was top notch. The staff helpful and kind, the whole place is stunningly decorated, and the breakfast superb. The location turned out to be a treat too. Easy to get on the metra, catch a taxi, walk. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the room which was huge and comfortable. It was so well... More

This is a really lovely b & b set in a renovated large building dating back to the late 1800's. High ceilings and large windows, I thought of Paris the moment I stepped into this place. They include a delicious vegetarian breakfast every morning with your stay. Its near the Metro stop San Cosme. This seems to be an up... More
