El Patio 77 is a charming b & b with an ecological mission, and a creative feel in a non-traditional neighborhood for tourists to visit, much less stay. For travelers who want to travel closer to the ground, with a more authentic feel, this is a perfect choice. While it is not in the fashionable neighborhoods of Roma or Condesa,... More

Room was large with King Size bed - very Mexican feeling with enormously high ceilings of brick, wooden floors and hardwood shutters to darken the room. Wonderful inclusive and welcoming service and delicious breakfast, different every day. The office staff all speak English, and one even spoke good French! The house has a great old time feeling with well renovated... More

Had a chance to stay at 77. The place is cool and thoughtfully designed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the beds were literally as hard as a rock and pillows were flat. For the money paid per night I would expect something more than a bed you would find in a hostel or dorm. I woke up with a... More

We had 2 nights at El Patio 77 and were very impressed by not only the amazing service but also the beautiful decorated rooms and eco friendly nature of the hotel. Each morning we had a delicious healthy breakfast cooked for us with amazing fruit and an authentic Mexican dish. The staff were very helpful in giving us advice on... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at this charming place. I endorse all the positive reviews. Although we were there for such a short time the service by Giovani (warm welcome, giving directions, advice, water, and early in the morning fruit) was excellent. The breakfast was very good. We were also impressed by the Eco ethic. After 2... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and the first couple of nights were enchanting but by day 3 we found ourselves irritated by all the little annoyances at this guest house. While the staff are all superbly kind, and the room (Oaxaco) was pleasantly large and well decorated, and the morning meals were all excellent, we decided this place just... More

As soon as you enter El Patio 77 you feel at home in a peaceful and beautifully restored house with high ceilings and a great local atmosphere. The staff is nice and friendly and the breakfast is excellent (every day a different Mexican speciality).

My husband and I had a 12 hour layover in Mexico City and wanted to stay in more of a 'home' environment. The architecture and design of the building is absolutely exquisite and reminded us of home in Seattle. Beautifully curated furniture and decor, a fantastic staircase, tall doors and windows... so beautifully done. The staff was kind and greeted... More

really lovely and helpful staff, very clean rooms, good location, good breakfast. When we left our passport at the hotel they sent it to the airport - great service! The location doesn't have too much around it but it's easy to get to the subway and taxis are cheap and quick.
