Room pricing at Calinda Geneve is very dynamic. You can pay as low as $65 per night and as high as $250 for the same room on the same night, depending on market conditions and the website you book with. Recently you could find rooms from $75 to over $200 on various sites for the same night....and the best prices... More

Old style hotel with decorations to match. Nice lobby old style.. Rooms in need of overhaul,as are bathrooms. Other downside is that over 50%of staff do nor speak English which is a big drawback. Good location,. Overall not bad at all but has a tired feel to it also bar staff had no idea about how to find the vodka... More

As a solo female traveler I was a bit worried about Mexico City on my own but this hotel had a great central, safe location, easy metro access and lots of great restaurants all within walking distance. The concierge arranged a special last minute tour of Luis Barragan's house and tix to the Folkloric Ballet. The rooms were spacious, clean... More

A great little place in the right area for the solo traveller who wants to have an enjoyable time without having to get a cab. I wouldn't rank the Geneve among the luxurious hotels as the room is spartiate ( might be a bit strong a word ), only the very basic being provided in a small space for a... More

The service provided from every person we encountered was outstanding and the hotel lobby, restaurants and common areas are very nice. The rooms are average and need an overall update. The location is great as you can walk to Paseo de la Reforma and get to many places from there. Zona rosa is a very busy area at night, so... More

Traveling to Mexico City frequently now and stayed in this location the beginning of June. The hotel is historic and has a beautiful lobby. The rooms are small but have all the basic necessities. I stayed at the Hotel Geneve for four nights in June 2015 and was generally happy with it. It's historic and beautiful, though the grandeur ends at the lobby and my room was quite plain. However, it was big enough for me, and comfortable, and always had hot water in the bathroom. I was on the second floor of the... More

This is a grand old hotel! The lobby is a treasure trove, with Tiffany glass and amazing old artifacts. The room was spotless and well appointed, the bath HOT.
