This hotel was right in the center of Zona Rosa and within walking distance to many restaurants, attractions, night life, pretty much anything you would want to do in Mexico City. The room was comfortable and clean. The Lobby is historic and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room service is prompt and the prices are right. I can't... More

as soon as you walk in you know its a very cool place. interesting decor, attentive staff & interesting places to eat and drink. i asked for a front window on the 4th floor. it was awesome and although you could sometimes here the street noise from the busy neighbourhood it really wasn't a problem. this is a FUN hotel... I live in the neighborhood of the Geneve, so many friends and visitors stay there. The service is superb, the rooms are large, beautiful and impeccable. My one friend raves about the sheets and asked where they are purchased so she can buy some for her home use! The restaurant serves very good food at reasonable prices. The location is... More

I have stayed at many hotels in the Zona Rosa area over the last few years. This hotel is one of the better ones for sure. Rooms are much quieter than most hotels in the area. Wifi works pretty well throughout the hotel (something not that common in MX City). Lobby is very nice and the staff are efficient and... More

A lovely hotel with a great history. The public areas are beautifully decorated and historically accurate. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and clean. Hard floors in the corridors mean that passing traffic is very noisy. Breakfast was served in a lovely room complete with live songbirds. Buffet breakfast was substantial and included many Mexican specialties. Wifi not great.

I got an excellent rate thanks to Orbitz. The public spaces are amazing. The location is great in the heart of the Zona Rosa, steps to the Metro at Insurgentes. I stayed for the first two nights of my trip and the last one. The first room I had was small with a tiny bathroom. The last night I had... More

I stayed for business for a weekend a month ago. Although Internet is complimentary, it is the worst. Slow and failed a lot. The room doors are so thin that you can notice everything that is going on on the hotel hallways especially at night. You can hear the elevator bell and neighbors opening/closing their doors. So annoying! The security... More

In my experience as a traveler, I have discovered that the journeys are made much more memorable, and my life enriched, not so much by the beauty of a place but by the kindness of the people that I meet along the way. A case in point was my recent stay at the Hotel Geneve Mexico City. Shortly after I... More

Pros: Great location, very accessible, great decor and ambiance, decent service Cons: If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The noise from the street kept me awake in the early mornings. Lot's of honking and yelling between 3-4am...perhaps when the bars close! WIFI was slow in rooms and mediocre in the lobby. Loved out experience, but be prepared... More

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September and the hotel did not disappoint. The reception/lobby area is like a museum.
