In my experience as a traveler, I have discovered that the journeys are made much more memorable, and my life enriched, not so much by the beauty of a place but by the kindness of the people that I meet along the way. A case in point was my recent stay at the Hotel Geneve Mexico City. Shortly after I... More

Pros: Great location, very accessible, great decor and ambiance, decent service Cons: If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The noise from the street kept me awake in the early mornings. Lot's of honking and yelling between 3-4am...perhaps when the bars close! WIFI was slow in rooms and mediocre in the lobby. Loved out experience, but be prepared... More

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September and the hotel did not disappoint. The reception/lobby area is like a museum. You really do feel like you are going back in time, we took a lot of photos there. The bell boys were really helpful giving useful tips on where to go. The hotel is very well... More

If you want to know more about Mexico's history this is the place to stay. The hotel is close from Zona Rosa, a gay friendly neighboorhood but please don't be scared, the people are very kind. Ask for a mini tour into the hotel, there's a lot vintage stuff to see like an old audio from Porfirio Diaz.

This hotel is just amazing. Its old charm, the bar's walls are adorned with old telephones. This is for people on business, couples, solo, what ever - its just great. The staff is really great. I would go back in a heartbeat. Truly amazing scene.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby, like a living museum. Situated in the pink zone, Bohemian neighborhood of Mexico City, great for those who want to enjoy a bit of Mexican night. Close to the city center and sights and near to subway station. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. At breakfast serves traditional Mexican food, it's delicious!... More

If I went back to Mexico City, I'd come back to this hotel only because of its location! Well guarded neighborhood, close to different shopping areas and public transportation. The cab ride to the airport was about 15 min (on a Sunday at 6am, though). My two biggest issues: (1) the staff wasn't as friendly as I hoped. I waited... More

We just returned from Mexico DF and a great stay at the Hotel Geneve. Located in the Zona Rosa, it is surrounded by some wonderful restaurants, tree lined promenades, and some fun shopping. We stayed at the Geneve back in the 70's and although it is quite expensive now, there are deals to be had on hotel sites. Our room... More
