We stayed at this hotel to unwind for a few days before continuing on a vacation that would be less relaxing and more exploring. We had stayed at this hotel in the past and we were not disappointed. The service is always excellent, the rooms, although not luxurious are elegant and are always clean and well stocked. The club rooms... more

I chose this hotel for a first trip to Mexico with my fiancée. Not knowing anything about the city, I deemed it to be well located for the main sights and dining and entertainment. The hotel was also on a good rate, which is why I chose an executive room, which featured larger rooms and access to the executive lounge.... more

This was my first trip to Mexico and it was for a conference. The staff was very friendly & all spoke excellent English -- from the reception staff to the room service staff. The internet access is not free, but the rate was reasonable. Be aware though that the internet access is separate from the business center and that you... more

I stay here on business all the time. This place is really nice outside and safe and right in town and you CAN drink the water there and the lobby is nice and the gym is great and the pool is great BUT the housekeeping people never seem to be able to get the rooms right. Either you get all... more

Perfect location in Mexico City, right across the Mexico DF - Benito Juarez Airport...we returned from a short visit to Cuernavaca. Had an early flight so we came the day before to avoid waking up at 3AM. The room was clean and comfortable. The front is a bit slow at check in but once you are in the room the... more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, January 9-11, 2009. This was our first experience in Mexico City so we thought a large hotel near some cultural facilities would be ideal. We wanted to save a few bucks after spending two weeks in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands and this place was just the ticket. The hotel was... more

I stayed at the Camino Real for 5 nights in December with my 3yr old and my husband. we had a very comfortable stay. I don't know what people are saying when they say 3rd world quality - clearly they haven't been to a third world quality hotel!! Camino Real was great! especially with my 3yr old. the room was... more

My overall impression of this property is that, though the customer service is very good, the rooms are old and tired; food & beverage options are plentiful with original concepts. Check-in was smooth and friendly. The rooms are a disgrace and need urgent remodeling; nevertheless, these are quite spacious, considerng it is a busines hotel. Two light bulbs were out... more

In Mexico City for a conference and was booked here for 10 days and even over that time never really appreciated how many facilities the hotel had. The start was not good being given a room at 0100 that somebody else already occupied (thankfully chained) but resulted in an upgrade so some consolation. Otherwise the experience was mostly upside though... more

From the wave-generating fountain in the front of the hotel, to the bold color scheme and creative architectural lay out, I imagine that you'll either love it or hate it. I loved it. If you are into single hallway, predictable spaces and the same old bar scene, this is not for you. The owners have accentuated the quirkiness of the... more
