We booked a three night stay through Expedia thinking it was a decent hotel and centralized to the center of Mexico City. The location was spot on but the hotel was horrible. Front desk service and rooms was very low quality. The rooms (we had two) were dirty, the beds were not made two days in a row, we requested... More

We stayed at this hotel, which has an excellent location, other than that it was horrible. Is neglected and the service stinks. I had to switch to a "deluxe" room as the one I was staying was horrible, the "deluxe" one was not much better at 400.00 extra pesos per night, oh and they switched me as if they were doing... More

First I did not pay for the hotel so I cannot tell you if it is a good value or not. The hotel was real basic and the bathroom fixtures were a bit rusted but everything was clean. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet (big plus for me). It's close to several good restaurant which is another plus.... More

It is not wonderful - but a good stay. I am mostly impressed because it has been there a long time and lasted through many earthquakes. A tour service is located downstairs and would contact them for tours. They will take you anywhere. The overall stays I have had there are OK - but not wonderful. Can not beat the... More

I was traveling to work in Mexico City and as soon as I got into the Hotel my nightmare begins. The floor and furniture were dirty. The portable air conditioning didn't work well. I ask the reception to change it and they asked me to open the window. Unbelievable. The shower was smaller than me. The pillow was dirty too.... More

This hotel is centrally located and with easy access to very good restaurants but, they have no HVAC, no ventilation, no air conditioning, unless you know to ask for what they call a "penguin", a portable A/C unit with a hose that hangs out of the room through a small window or a hole in the wall. Quite noisy and... More

For any price you do not want to stay at this hotel. Just don't do it. The 'free' Internet did not work. The tech the registration desk said would be right up never showed. The bed was a mattres on a slab and lumpy. No air conditioning. Bathroom was wet all the time as showering got the entire room swamped;... More

The first night I was woken up at 4am. I was placed in the 2nd floor in a room that faced the street. When I woke up I saw what appeared to be the silhouette of a young lad hiding behind the huge window. That terrible experience changed me emotionally. The next morning I was placed in the third floor... More

Really horrible food, they treated us with the dinner-leftovers in the morning-buffet - but the staff was really nice though. We were upgraded to the suites for 8 days free of charge, those rooms were nice - the other ones not really good...

Plenty of bars and cafes around the hotel, the staff were helpful with a very friendly porter. Our room was clean if dated with no air con although a portable unit could be requested. WiFi was fast and could be picked up from our room so good for researching maps etc. Buses up to Zocalo (main square) can be caught... More
