The hotel was on a pedestrian only street.Something going on all day and night. The room in the hotel was small, had no air conditioner and was very dark.the good thing was we heard no noise.in the perfect place if you are going to the Historic Area.

We stayed 17th to 24th March 2015. The hotel is on Modero, a pedestrianised street which at one end has the Zocalo, and at the other Bella Artes. When empty you can walk to the former in 5 minutes & the latter in 2 minutes. However the street is very rarely empty, and at the weekend ......full, is an understatement,... More

The best is its location, in the hart of Mexico City; exactly in one of the most crowded streets in the historic downtown; however because they have noise free windows, the street and a night club that was noisy in the past not represent a problem to rest well. It is clean and with some charm since it is in... More

We stayed here for one night only just to be near all the New Year's Eve celebrations. The location is great, just up the road from Zocalo. We stayed in room 203 which overlooks Av. Francisco I. Madero, a big pedestrianised street. This room has a bath as well as a shower and a great view overlooking the street, obviously... More

This Hotel is near of many points on interest in the downtown of México. The Rate is accesible. If you forgot something in your room after the checkout do not worry, you can claim it later. Madero street is right there, also internet is free. Great place.

The location of the hotel is nice. It is in Francisco Madero, one of the man street in the touristic zone. The Templo Mayor and The Cathedral are in walking distance. The price is honest. The breakfast could be a little bit better. If you like walking, in a Sunday morning you can go to Museo de Antropologia by foot... More

This hotel needs new Management since it has all the potential of being a good option for staying in downtown Mexico City. However, I can not recommend this hotel without making some important observations. Apparently our experience was very similar to that of other reviewers here. We made our reservations online and paid in advance for three rooms for four... More

I have stayed at this establishment twice now, both times for business, and both times for four nights. Location: The hotel is located in the historic section of the city just a five minute walk from the Zocalo (Central Square in front of the National Palace) and Cathedral. There are tons of restaurants and lots of shopping right outside the... More

Stayed here for a week for a business trip, and its central location made it very easy to see the sights and get around the city. It's not the "Ritz", but it is a decent hotel that is clean and safe. Staff was very helpful. I would consider staying here if I had another quick trip in Mexico City. Taxis... More

As part of a tour of Mexico this year we stayed 3 nights at the Ritz... As others have mentioned the amenities etc. are not extensive but the hotel is very well located and clean. If you are taking a taxi or prearranged pick up have them call ahead to the hotel and arrange for the bellman to meet you... More
