The hotel is in a great location, near restaurants, bars, cafes, and not too far from public transit. It is very affordable, particularly for the area. Nice clean rooms. You can hear people in the halls and upstairs but it is not any worse than most hotels. The staff was helpful and friendly.

A very reasonably priced hotel which was very accomodating to our needs. Impeccable beds, beyond helpful staff that spoke english (One delightful lady let us borrow her bus pass for the day). They had the room ready for us at 6am and didn't mind that we had to depart earlier than expected. Also some good restaurants in the area. The... More

The stanza hotel is located within the best neighborhoods of La Roma. On our stay, the hotel had an awful sewage smell that made it quite unpleasant for sleeping. The concierge lacks basic courtesies and customer service. For the price and location I would recommend this hotel but given that our trip had a business purpose, we did sacrifice the... More

We stayed here with 4 of friends for a a tourist visit to Mexico City. We all live in San Miguel de Allende. The staff were, for the most part, extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early around 1:30pm and we're all able to checkin. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants nearby and an Oxxo. Close to the metro... More

Starting with the positives, the hotel is clean and well presented and quiet at night so suitable for families. It's location is ok as you are quite close to 'Turibus,' if you are in the city for a few days but it is a bit of a walk to the regular bus stop and even further to the subway. It's... More

We stayed here overnight before our flight back to LA and chose this hotel due to the proximity of the subway station -Ninos Heroes. We wanted to be able to get dinner in town and not have to stay near the airport with limited options. It was about 3-4 blocks from the subway exit and was a straight shot. Look... More

This hotel has everything you need. Comfortable beds, nice staff, great wifi. It has the perfect location Roma which is the trendy part of the city. The staff is multilingual and you feel very looked after. They can help with cabs and there are great bars and cafés in walking distance.

Have stayed here a couple of times and it is clean and comfortable. Nothing special but has an agreeable atmosphere. I stay here because there is a wealth of restaurants in the area (Colonia Roma) and it is perfectly safe. A good hotel for when you are being careful with the budget.

I don't think we will be returning to this hotel. To its credit, the hotel was very convenient because we came to Mexico City last minute during spring break. We usually stay in the area because we like it. The hotel was a little more expensive than we customarily pay, but it was clean and comfortable. The wifi is pretty... More

Helpful staff, Eric in particular spoke very good English, and was always willing to help. Each staff member from bellman to housekeeping was friendly and always spoke. Safe and in a nice neighborhood where we felt comfortable walking around.

Staying in Roma

Neighborhood Profile
Roma
Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even private residences are on beautiful display when walking through Colima street to do some necessary shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch cafés, gourmet restaurants and food markets all around will surely catch your senses by surprise.
