Obelisk is conveniently located close to a nice park , many restaurants and a few small supermarkets . The building itself is not bad although it would benefit from better windows to reduce the noise inside . So prefer suites at the back , you will still hear some street noise but much less and the birds singing will wake... More

I will probably go there once more, since the location is perfect for me and the hotel is not bad. That's for sure. However, something odd with this hotel. The cleaners get to your room 2-3 times a day. Perhaps a better management of the cleaning services will save time. IMPORTANT: the cleaning is SUPERB and they are really nice... More

Good - hotel (or more like an apartment building) is in a good location - posh (and safe) neighborhood and relatively close to subway. Bad - the rooms have no air-conditioning whatsoever. Amazing for a place that gets humid and hot. Quite uncomfortable to sleep in. Our king bed was simply two smaller beds pushed together. No more to say.... More

I stayed a few nights at the Obelisk Suites in Polanco over the last few months. The hotel is in a great location, in the heart of Polanco and close to very nice restaurants and attractions. Excellent value for money ... but the staff in particularly unfriendly and not really willing to help, there is no restaurant in house and... More

These are corporate apartments / suites. They are perhaps a little dated in style, but unlike most places like this, it is not impersonal. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are cleaner thoroughly every day and the breakfast is good (but no cooked food). They do a dinner in the evening which is far from haute cuisine but... Obelisk Residential is located next to Lincoln Park in the Polanco area of Mexico City. You are in the heart of the restaurant, and upscale shopping and a half block from Reforma Ave. which takes you by bus to the zona rosa, museums, and the business district as well as the historic center. The suites are spacious, have a small... More

If you get a rate in any currency other than Mexican Peso, ask them to give you a rate in Pesos. At payment time, they only accept Pesos (including cash and creditcards) and they themselves decide what the exchange rate is, and (guess what) their rate is such that they make an extra 5-10% off of you. Also, the safe... More

In a lovely street, close to shops and restaurants. Our suite was spacious and clean. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfasts were adequate - the best fresh fruit. The bathroom was quite small - interesting sliding doors. The staff were very friendly but couldn't tell us where the closest mail box was. A pleasant stay non the less.

they book the rooms as junior suites and when you get there they say that they have "junior room", which must be a new category, and however it is just a regular room, with a very small bathroom, no air conditioning, very noisy, lousy internet signal and a poor breakfast.
