Like many other Mexico City budget hotels, his hotel is noisy around the clock on weekends and holidays. The hotel is quiet at other times. Hotel security is very good with card locks on room doors. CNN on room TV. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. Safes available at reception. Hotel is very close to stop on new metrobus Line... More

The price as long as you book it on the internet is very resonable. But as I learn with alot of hotels in Mexico, the internet is very limited if at all. Their are very few electric receptables. An I mean very few. One in the bathroom, and two in the room. Now, they all utlized, one three prong the... More

We stayed here for 5 nights because it was a cheap option ($25) in a decent location. It's within walking distance of lots of good spots and is in an area with lots of food options. There are some prostitutes in nearby streets, but they're harmless. The room we had was pretty plain - just two beds, a tv, cabinet... More

Coming from Austria we stayed one night at arrival in Mexico and three nights before leaving the country. Clean and friendly reception. W-Lan - but only in the reception hall. Close to the metro-station Hildago. Small restaurant in the ground-floor. Great stay for little money!

My cab driver from the bus station picked this hotel for me. It has excellent internet for wifi in the rooms. The windows open to let in a breeze. Walk a few blocks and you're at a huge shaded cement park with plumes of water shooting high into the air and children playing. My room was clean, maid came daily.... More

I was really surprised to see how clean the bathroom was - immaculately clean. The area is calm, but close to a Metro station. I did not use the restaurant, so cannot comment. The only concern was the my toilet had weak flushing, but may be it was supposed to be like that. Just use one my flush and it... More

Clean, confortable, near main streets and metro. Hotel New York was just what I was expecting. In a quiet neighbor it makes the perfect choice if your looking for a good place to rest after walking Mexico City o travelling nearby beautiful towns. Maybe if you're willing to make hotel life it's not the place, although it has a little... More

I may be breaching Mexican Security Guidelines here, but when I checked into the New York Hotel, I noticed the present of a rather heavily armed Marine. I should have walked out then, but the manager assured me that the Marine was there just to provide extra security for hotel guests. I didn't think much about it, as I was... More
