Good hotel to sleep, bathroom too small, quite neighborhood at night busy in the morning close to monumento a la revolucion and about 2 kilometers from the zocalo (1.25 miles) lots of food stands near by where you can eat for around 3 dollars or less close to everytjing far for everything. A cab from hotel to basilica is around... More

I chose this hotel because of the location and that it's used by G Adventures which I have travelled with before and had good accommodation experiences. I really wanted to rate this place highly - rooms good, staff great, breakfast cheap and awesome - but the beds were rock hard and the pillows awful. I'm ok with basic hotels (which... More

This is a basic, safe, clean, reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location in the heart of the city. We stayed on the 3rd floor and WiFi worked just fine. The room has a flat screen TV. The rooms are a bit old and worn out but you're not there to sit in the room, right? We stayed in a... More

We stayed 8 nights in inner facing room. The only noise came from the slamming doors due to stiff locking mechanisms.Other than this it was very quiet. The WiFi worked 24 hours a day from 3rd floor and was perfect for Skyping Family. The restaurant is ok with a strong Mexican menu, good if you are an egg and beans... More

Hotel New York is just fine, clean and safe if you're on a tight budget and not looking for a four-star spot. The location is good, near many metro lines though I used the Hidalgo one. You can walk to a lot of spots in the center from here. If you really like your morning Starbucks, there's one nearby. The... More

I booked 2 nights there through a travel agency for 27Euros/night. The hotel is from 10 min walking of the Station Revolucion. It is situated in the popular neighbourghood, however it was close to the police station, so it's very calm and there is no problem to going out late. From the hotel, you are 10 min to the Revolution... More

I had a double ensuite room in the downstairs part of the hotel. The rate was about 25 dollars per night. Wi Fi reception in the room was great and the hotel was very close to the Metro and the Centro Historico. Hightly recommended!

We stayed here on the start of our around the world trip. Rooms were clean, simple and it was quiet. The WiFi if you need it, is only available at reception. There are few restaurants in the near proximity, metro station is about 5min walk. Overall, really good stay.

Trustable and devoted housekeepers, easy going and polite front desk staff. I stayed there twice in the last year for a total of about 12 days. I could leave for free some of my luggage when I went in Acapulco for 3 days then came back for some extra days. I did the same for some hours before heading to... More
