This was a very good for the price hotel, and so close to metro station and a couple of landmarks. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Zocalo, so it's nice hotel if you're planning on just stopping by to rest, shower and sleep. The pillows were a bit hard, and no wifi in the room, those are the only... More

Very nice clean room, limited ammenities but free wifi. I had a hard time with their bedding...pillow were not confi nor the mattres. Inside noise... More

We stayed at the Mayaland a couple of times both coming into and leaving Mexico City while touring through central Mexico. We were incredibly happy with the cleanliness, hotel personel, as well as the safeness of the Mayalnad. The rooms are also very quiet and comfortable which is always a plus! Easily accesible, with a great location and good restraunts... More

This is an excellent budget hotel in Mexico City. Ideally located between the Plaza of the Revolution and the Colon Monument, it is within walking distance of Alameda Park, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and the Zocalo (though it is a long walk to the Zocalo). Rooms are on the smallish side, but they are spotlessly clean, the staff is friendly... More

We stayed 8 nights at the Mayaland in December 2003 and loved it. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, reminiscent of the standard of a Travelodge in the UK. (That shouldn't put you off by the way!) There is very little noise from the street, and the service was very good, if not overly friendly. This is a hotel for... More

After scouting out budget hotels for half a day, finally found satisfaction with The Mayaland. At only about $30 a day it delivered just about everything we needed and wanted. Clean, newer rooms with good bathrooms, very helpful staff and a pleasant restaurant. Hotel is shiny and well cared for, with internet access in lobby. No funny smells, no insects,... More
