My husband and I have been to Mexico City several times and always stayed at the Catedral (would still do so because we love that hotel). However, this trip we decided to venture out and try a different hotel - so we tried two based on the tripadvisor reviews. One was the Emporio Reforma and the other was Marco Polo.... more

We recently stayed in this boutique type hotel. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and the hotel is well placed for restaurants and bars. If you don't mind the gay scene that the area seems to attract I would recommend it for value for money , comfort and with free guest internet access. The staff are friendly and helpful. more

We stayed in the hotel for two nights last week. I'd say it's a decent 3+/4 star hotel, a good value for money (we paid US$75+18%tax). We had a double room booked via a travel agent, but upon check-in we were told only twin-bed rooms were available so we took it. Staff - very friendly, speaking very good English (we... more

We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 a.m. - no problem checking in. The room was okay, a decent size, but the bed was brutally hard. It was also non-smoking, though I had reserved a smoking room. (I know, I know). No problem, either. The night manager said I could smoke in the room and they'd change our room the... more

This hotel was in the heart of the pink zone, the street which it is on has a few bars and a can get quite noisy in the evening. However the hotel itself was very business like, staff were reasonably friendly and rooms were adequate. more

Overall, our stay was pretty good. We stayed in one of the penthouse rooms which had a small balcony and jacuzzi tub. After searching around I found the best rate directly through the hotel's website. The room was spacious yet the bed was pretty hard (you can get used to it). My only complaint with the room is that the... more

I chose the Marco Polo for the couple of nights I was staying in Mexico City after reading the good reviews on Trip Advisor, and found that it lived up to those reviews very well. The rooms were nice, comfortable, and clean, and the staff were generally very helpful. The location in the middle of Zona Rosa is fantastic. The... more

After a horrifying experience at another hotel, I walked to the Marco Polo and they accepted me right off the street and showed me one of their rooms before checking in. I was impressed and even more impressed at the rate for the room (breakfast included!)for under US$100/day. Clean, modern and quiet. Centrally located to everything in the Zona Rosa,... more

This hotel gets all the great reviews for a very good reason. We paid only 80.00 USD (plus tax) and were very pleased with it. The rate included a very nice breakfast, although the coffee was bad. The hotel is run extremely well. Very clean. Well maintained, with lots of extra nice touches. The location, on the edge of the... more
