When my husband and I travel we take organized tours, and we need a hotel that is large enough and sufficiently well- known that the tours will pick us up there - that's why we picked this one, it was the least-expensive ($57/night) on our tour operator's list. As we approaches the hotel we liked the neighborhood's wide tree-shaded streets... More

Even there are many hotels in Mexico city. just like Sheraton. my local branch manager choose this. with the reason - Mexico city has many earthquake. and this old and low story hotel is safety proven building. The room and sheet and bed was old but clean. bath was so so old but clean.... More

I'm a no frills person, so I'm not looking for greatness in a hotel. The staff was easy to work with and some spoke English. The rooms were very clean, though the beds were very hard. It is located on a nice quiet street, but walking distance to some great attractions. There are plenty of places to eat within a... More

The only good thing: people are friendly. It is a very old hotel. And six of the seven friends who were staying at the hotel, experienced a great problem: we got stomach ache and we had to see a doctor three days after leave the hotel.

I used to stay at the Bristol for business at least twice a month a few years ago. I just came with the family for a weekend at the big city and found the Bristol unchanged in a good way, same good, no frills service, great Mexican food at the restaurant, and clean rooms. WIFI is free now, and the... More

I've been there twice. The first time I didn't like it but I decided to give it a second chance as it was convenient for my meetings. I was proved wrong. Second time was even worse than the first. Very old hotel, slow internet, not a proper chair in the room to sit down if you want to use your... More

I stayed here for a week with work. The location's great as it's within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants, a nice park and a number of tourist attractions. The rooms are very clean, the customer service is fantastic and it felt safe with double locks on the doors and clearly marked emergency exits. Any problems you have they... More

We stayed two nights enroute to Oaxaca. We arrived after midnight and found the security was very good. We were checked in promptly and our luggage was immediately taken to our room. We wanted to get something to eat and got a map and directions to a nearby Sanborns. We walked and felt completely safe with a strong police presence... More

I stayed there for 3 nights. First and second night everything was great. Nice service, excellent ubication, nice rooms for the price and the neighborhood.... The very last night I stayed there, I decided to have dinner in the little restaurant located in the lobby. I ordered a club sandwich and a beer, so far so good. Then I asked... More

As I said, I have been coming here for over 25 years and you can not beat the price, the service, and the security. It is in the embassy zone, an the American Embassy is just three blocks away, need I say more. The restaurante has a good breakfast buffet for an extra fee of $10 - $12 depending on... More
