Clean, tastefully appointed. Safe area for Mexico - able to walk a few blocks around and shopping is close. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. There is always an event going on there which is interesting and exciting at times. I think they are a little high priced is the only thing I would say negative about them.

Once again ICH can be proud of their offering in Mexico City. The intercontinental is a great hotel, albeit slightly pricey vs the standard of room. Location is perfect in the heart of polanco, close to the business quarter and some excellent eateries. Ke El Tako is my reco for fantastic tacos. Room size is slightly smaller than I expected... If you are looking for the travel with your wheerchair and dog, i will say this is one of best place in Mexico City, although most of Mexican people are very friendly and helpful for wheerhair and dog here. We stayed in the accesible room for 2 days. The room has enough space to move with the wheerchair, the space... More

Recently had the opportunity to stay in these adjacent properties during a recent trip to the DF and it was interesting to note the differences between the two. Both are deluxe but have different characters. The JWM is more "clubby" and intimate, while the Intercontinental is big and expansive. Our room at the JWM was larger and featured lots of... More

You do expect luxury and comfort in this kind of establishment given the rates but I have a few niggles; 1. Check-in/out - slow and seems to take forever even though there's not many people waiting and many people behind the reception desk. 2. Controls for lights were non intuitive which might have had something to do with my 12... More

I stayed in one of the updated rooms and thought it nice, though a few things were not exactly intuitive. I couldn't find where to plug my laptop near the desk and eventually found the outlet under the desk, in the most remote corner (why??). The numerous lights, particularly for the bathroom, and how to control which one definitely beat... More

Having stayed at this hotel regularly a few years ago, I've returned only to find that the service is not what it used to be and that the place hasn't updated in a long time. Upon checking in, no one seemed to know what was included in the package that I purchased from the hotel offer and quite frankly they... More

The hotel is going through a badly needed renovation, they keep noises to a minimum but if you are on a high floor you might hear them. I stayed at one of their new rooms. The room was nice, a little small but with a nice view overlooking the park. The bathroom sink is on the bedroom side so not... More

My second time here, both for business; the hotel is located in a safe and exclusive area, close to excellent restaurants. In general service is good as the staff has been trained for many years. But..beware of the noise (from 9am to 6pm) as the hotel is undergoing renovations. Pros: Hotel has several good restaurants; location in Polanco district is... More
