This hotel is a bit like a run-down Grand Budapest Hotel! We enjoyed its history and faded grandeur but it really does need an update. Our room (a standard King) seemed a little grubby, the basin in the bathroom was very wobbly, and the room was seriously underfurnished (e.g. no bedside table on one side of the bed, though we... A great hotel just in front of Catedral. Food is really tasty. Views are really beautifull. If you have the chance you can view the flag rising at 8:00am. The street on sunday is very active. You can see people running or walking with their dogs. The Catedral is just in front. This days the streets are closed because the... More

My mom and I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. It was close to everything: Sunday market, Turi bus stand, Palacio De Bellas Artes. It is located on the main avenue. So you can walk even at night and it is safe. There are many restaurants and cafes, stores and small shops. It is close to a metro. The... More

Historic hotel at a very good price. WIFI needs to be improved but is better than last year.Location is right on Madura street. Main pedestrian tourist (and locals), shopping and people watching boulevard. Easy walk to Bellas Artes and museums and restaurants.

Beautiful location. Nice restaurant with excellent view to the cathedral and town hall building. Many options to dine within walking distance. If you are planing to have a good night of sleep look for another option.

Booked two nights right in the Zócalo in DF. We couldn't check in right away upon arrival around midday. We went up to the bar-restaurant on the top floor and were taken away by the views. Amazing! The guest rooms however are in desperate need of a deep clean and redecorating.

We stayed here one night on our 18 days Mexico trip. The hotel is central and charming and you can nearly sense the luxury the building had had. But the hotel and especially the rooms are worn down to a level which I find critical. Also be aware that an old building like this has some acoustic challenges giving rice... More

My husband and I recently stayed just one night at this hotel and I'm glad it was only one night. It was probably a beautiful hotel at one time but is badly in need of renovating. Our room was terrible. The curtains were broken. Luckily, I had paperclips and could hold the curtains together with paperclips. The room was very... More

We returned to the BW Majestic for a few days and found nothing changed... The location is still superb, the view incredible, the historical building full of lovely tile and wrought iron, and the rest is simply no match. This time there was no WIFI anywhere in the hotel, don't believe the listing... or the staff who always act surprised... More

Stay at this hotel if you want an incredible view of the zocalo. Staff very nice and helpful- moved us to a suite after our initial room was covered in roaches. Be prepared for a lot of noise since the location. Wifi spotty. Water pressure terrible. For $200 a night you'd be very disappointed if it weren't the incredible view... More
