We returned to the BW Majestic for a few days and found nothing changed... The location is still superb, the view incredible, the historical building full of lovely tile and wrought iron, and the rest is simply no match. This time there was no WIFI anywhere in the hotel, don't believe the listing... or the staff who always act surprised... More

Stay at this hotel if you want an incredible view of the zocalo. Staff very nice and helpful- moved us to a suite after our initial room was covered in roaches. Be prepared for a lot of noise since the location. Wifi spotty. Water pressure terrible. For $200 a night you'd be very disappointed if it weren't the incredible view... More

My brother and I traveled to Mexico City for a vacation, and this hotel did not disappoint. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and the room was a great value for the price. The room was nothing fancy, but it was still good. The location of this hotel is PERFECT. Right on the Zócalo, I... More

This hotel could be so beautiful but it is not being maintained very well. Room was marginal at best. WIFI did not work in the room we had. The place seemed cold - maybe the high ceilings. We were in Mexico for the Day of the Dead. The location was perfect - we enjoyed being on Zocalo square. We felt... More

Great location overlooking the Zocalo. Within walking distance of art galleries. Breakfast was very substantial..lots of hot dishes, cereals, pastries, fruit. Historic building with beautiful tiles but in need of a facelift. Low water pressure, bedspreads stained, cockroaches, wifi reception poor, room service hit and miss.

Overlooking El Zocalo, there is no better location in the city. Ask for a Zocalo view and enjoy the balcony. Plenty of restaurants with excellent food and shops right outside. This is the real city that never sleeps.

We felt very safe and at the heart of Mexico City. Cool hotel in an authentic Mexican way. The hotel ambiance is fun. The top floor restaurant offered a great view of the square and good food to enjoy with friends.

Exelent location, nice view over lookig at the Zocalo. At 6:00an you get first look at the militaries raising the flag. to your right the Catedral, that is where the Aztec dancers gater, to the side The Tianguis (farmers market like) bars, restaurants shops everithing you need walking distance. Great experiance !

This hotel is literally on the zocalo, on a pedestrian street. From our balcony we had a front row seat to the zocalo and the Palacio Nacional. Just a perfect location in every aspect. The front desk help was not very accommodating. They were short and curt with their answers. However, all was good in the hotel and in the... More

We traveled to Mexico City for the Day of the Dead Celebrations. Our room overlooked the Zocalo. It was magnificent. Although there is only one small elevator - and it is operated by an employee...it is quick to respond to a push of the call button. The hotel is decorated nicely..our room was pleasant, the bathroom clean and shower pleasant.
