I stayed at Hotel Catedral September 12-18,2007. It is located in the Centro Historico area. I rented a single room that came with a bed big enough for three for $45.00 per night. Geat location. Great staff. Terrific room, on seventh floor, right next to the terrace facing the cathedral. I can't praise this place enough. The only minor complaint was the pathetically low water pressure in the shower. Be sure to book in advance. By the way, they give a 10% dicount for cash. more
