(A mid-November 2006 two-night stay) First, I have to say that I would recommend this hotel to someone travelling to Mexico City. The facility is very, very nice, with a great looking lobby, a big bar area, nice restaurant, and comfortable seating areas on the first floor. Everyone in my party got a great room. I never figured out if... more

I stayed at the Marquis Reforma Nov 14-17 2006 while attending a conference at the Banamex Center in Mexico City. This was my first trip to Mexico City. I was traveling alone (female, mid forties, my command of the Spanish language is limited to the vocabulary needed to order drinks in a bar or tell someone to wash their hands.)... more

Our room was fantastic -- we had a suite for 2 adults, and 2 small children. Buffet breakfast was great, and for no more than you would expect at a large business hotel. Little kids were not allowed in the pool. Bravo! The car service was easy, cheap, and safe. The location of the hotel is great -- just a... more

Stayed at the Reforma for three nights in early October. Reserved through AmEx Fine Hotels and got upgraded to a suite, plus free breakfast buffet and two complementary massages at the spa. The room was spacious and well appointed; the only flaw was that I could not get the network connection to work. But there was wireless on the bottom... more

Just got back from 4 nights there while on business last week. By far the best hotel I've stayed in Mexico City. Truly a 5 star, world-class property. Beautifully appointed rooms. Attentive staff. Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Located on the Paseo de la Reforma, the primo locale in the city, and one block from the new Torre Mayor... more

As I write this, I am just a few days in to a 12 night business trip to Mexico City. This is my first stay at the Marquis Reforma and I will stay here for this entire trip. I travel all over the world on business, including three or four trips a year to Mexico, D.F. While in this compelling... more

For the life of me, I can't see how this hotel could possibly be rated higher than the Four Seasons, which is a fantastic hotel. The decor here is just atrocious, from the lobby to the rooms. Hard to describe, but felt like maybe 1960s Vegas that hadn't been renovated since it was built 40 years ago. If you're into... more

I stayed two nights at this nice hotel and I was very pleased: a) location: two blocks from Chapultepec park and 1/2 mile from Museo de Antropologia, both a must see in this beautiful city; Reforma, the boulevard were this hotel is located, is the main avenue, close to everything like Polanco and Zona Rosa. b) service: the concierge was... more

Awesome hotel!! Near everything!!! We had a great room, a great view and superb service; the bathroom was huge and sparkling; the bed was plush ; one of the most comfortable beds I've experienced anywhere, and I've travelled quite a bit! Staff fell over each other to wait on us! Food was delicious and serving sizes generous. The spa and... more
