Great location. Used to be a great hotel but it needs an urgent and major remodeling. Had an unexpected detour to Mexico City after a stay in the yucatan due to passport issues of one of my travelling companions. The hotel seems very safe with a lot of security present. The elevators are restricted to rook key access only, This area of Mexico City had a good amount of continued police patrols as well.
