The location is excellent between the hot spots of Polanco and the world class museums nearby in Chapultepec park. The outside running tracks in Chapultepec are also very inviting. All these competent first class hotels are similar. But I found the breakfast buffet to be extraordinarily delicious. Many times these buffets have one or two outstanding dishes above an army... This was my first time visiting Mexico City and what a great experience. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in the Polanco district. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful from check in to check out. I stayed in a single room with a king size bed. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. I had an... More

Prior to arrival l I requested they collected me from the airport as having not been before, I was very pleased they did. The hotel was excellent, with great food either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfasts were good in that you helped yourself to either cooked i.e. eggs / bacon etc or fresh fruit or continental style. The music was... More

This is a very elegant hotel, with masterful architecture. But it is not a place I would seek out. First, it was dark. Really dark. The kind of dark that made me wonder what they were trying to hide? Dirt? Bugs? I doubt it. But it was still too dark. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, the room smelled strongly of... More

Was given a room on the 40th floor in their Regency Club suite, for which I was charged nearly SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS for one night, mid-week. If that wasn't bad enough, the rooms off their Regency Club lounges are INCREDIBLY NOISY as you can hear every loudmouth guest talking over the television. Opt for a normal room on a normal... More

Hotel is fantastic now that its remodeled. The executive floor on the 40th Floor is great for business, work and relaxation. The lobby and restaurants are all great, and the staff is very attentive to detail. Great staff, facilities, and location. Will be back for sure for business travel.

For me, a hotel already wins when everything works effortlessly. This was the case at the Hyatt Regency in Polanco. When travellling on business, I really don't feel like chasing after internet access codes or spending hours at check-in and -out. In this respect, the hotel was perfect for me with its friendly efficiency. The hotel room was in a... More

I do a lot of global business travel for my company and have stayed in many hotels around the world.
