Great hotel with fantastic service. I normally take concierge restaurant recommendations with a grain of salt. These guys were nails. In the block behind the hotel is a taqueria called El Caminera. I'm not afraid to admit I ate lunch there every day. Other tip is Fonda El Refugio on Liverpool. Had a caldo that changed my life.

Clean and comfortable hotel in the Zona Rosa, next door to the US Embassy and very close to the UK and Japanese embassies. Excellent buffet breakfast including fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, cooked breakfast and even Japanese (rice, fish, furikake and pickles). Beds were comfortable and very much what you would expect from Sheraton. Sadly I found the bar overpriced,... More

Dear Guest, We appreciate very much you taking the time to share your comments and experiences in our hotel. We regret that the pool did not meet your expectations. The area is designed to be used more as a solarium for reading and sunbathing instead of a lap swimming pool. Regarding your comments about our pricing, we plan to do... More

Only in Mexico is this a 4 star hotel. It needs a renovation. Starwood should be embarrassed that this major hotel next to the embassy is in the chain. Rooms and food both mediocre. Staff was quite nice however.

i travel heavily for my job so am kinda picky about my hotels.......they threw in a lot of extras like they upgraded me to a nicer room with a view of the independence monument, gave me internet for free, etc ,etc. francisco at the reception was exceptionally good....... the only bad thing is the annoying false ceiling at the lobby... I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Sheraton. The coolest either of our rooms could be was 22 degrees C, it was mostly closer to 25. We complained and when they could not fix the a/c in our first room, we moved to another room, but with no improvement in the a/c. We had the maintenance people... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times. something happens every time. A horrible, dirty room one day. No internet the other. flooding at 2 a.m. The hotel is old, clean but dingy, and the service is well meaning but not very good. If you want luxury and modern fixtures and cuisine, stay somewhere else.--for those SPG fans, the new... More

Ok, the hotel location is the best thing this hotel has, the gym is just ok. Most of the staff are friendly but they are not top class as they do all they know, but they need more training. It is NOT their fault some things the hotel has are from 1960. If you are looking for vintage, this is... More

3 nights and 3 problems: the fire alarm went off by mistake twice, followed by an apparently useless visit of staff to the room; and a maid entered the room without previous notice - by mistake - again, during the night.
