I bought two tickets for a local tour in the lobby of the hotel. I was charged for the price of four (4) . I submitted a formal claim to the hotel administration. Up to date, I did not receive any satisfactory response from the hotel administration. more

The Fiesta Americana hotel has a great location. If you are coming on business the price is right for a very average hotel. Definitely nothing to rave about here, but nothing done wrong either. The hotel is very dated, the TV worked rarely and I could not adjust the air conditioning in my room properly. I was shocked by how... more

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night and the room was really outdated and it had a bad odor. I was too tired to ask for another room. The restaurant seemed to be overpriced. I stayed at Sevilla Palace across the street the weekend before ( for 3 nights) and was totally blown away with deal that I got.... more

It is a well located hotel in Mexico City, near Angel de la indenpendencia, also fairly close to Zocalo, Turibus stops by in front of the hotel, service is great, since you enter the lobby everybody is willing to help, taxi service from the hotel is kind of expensive, but rather that ride into the green VW taxis in the... more

When we decided to visit Mexico for a fortnight. We stoped at this hotel for x4 nights in Mexico City, and then came back to it for x1 night, after spending x8 nights in Tulum near Cancun, before flying back to London, UK. All in all 5 nights at this Hotel. The hotel was booked by Trailfinders in London (travel... more

I stayed in this hotel 4/6/2008 to 4/7/2008. On my second day at the hotel I noticed a used condom stuck to the floor in the corner of the bathroom. The bathroom must have been cleaned twice with it there. When I complained to the manager they offered to change my room but nothing else. I had to extend my... more

June 19, 2006 I just came from Mexico City yesterday from a four day holiday with a friend. The hotel is centrally located on a major street near the financial district and the old Centro Historico District. It is a great jumping point to all parts of the city. Overall, I was happy with my stay, but I must point... more

We chose the Fiesta Americana Hotel based on Trip Advisor information and were not disappointed at all. The service is excellent and we found that the concierge service was outstanding. They booked two tickets for us for a Sunday evening performance of the Ballet Folklorico on the spur of the moment and were able to attend without a problem. Taxi... more

Normally I would rate such a hotel as above average but after staying there for business in February I returned covered with bed bug bites (disgusting!!!). This was my first encounter with such a thing, and hopefully my last! My dermatologist informed me bed bugs are becoming problematic again- he has treated several patients this year alone (people who had... more
