This hotel is perfectly situated within a short walk to the magnificent Bosque de Chapultepec, which contains fabulous museums and lovely vistas. It is a perfect introduction to Mexico City. After visiting the park, I greatly enjoyed returning to the hotel for a late lunch in the quiet, magnificent inner garden. A dip in the pool and some time in... More

Good location & it's pretty much it. Breakfast buffet is too small when crowded. Room is awefully dated for a Four Seasons - Definitely not up to expectations - Very disappointed. Currently under renovations.

Very nice old hotel in colonial style. The staff is very nice and friendly. But it feels that you have to ask for everything you need (the room was prepared for one instead of two persons like explicitly booked). Unfortunately the rooms are quite average. The beds are very good. The hotel is currently under renovation and seems on a... More

Somehow we found an amazing rate at a fraction of what every other site was charging, and I am so happy we did! This hotel is a calm oasis in the middle of everything. The courtyard was a perfect place to eat or have a drink (which we did many times). Everything in the hotel is impeccable--it even smells perfect.... More

Unfortunately lobby is under repair...but they even mask that in a decorative way. Other than that, beautiful courtyard, incredible bed, stylish hallways, nice bar and the place smells great! It was a bit of a hike from my room to the health club...but I was going there to work out afterall, so I did not mind the extra warm up... More

We have stayed (and LOVED) this hotel since 1995--but not on this most recent stay. When we made our reservations we were NOT made aware that the hotel is under heavy reconstruction (HEAVY--as in floor-jarring jackhammers all day long--even on Sunday morning as we tried to rest). When I expressed concern (or even asked why not continue renovation work on... More

Dear MT, I was very sad to read your notes on how disappointed you were with the ongoing renovation and your lack of excitement for our new design. First of all I apologize for the suprise when you arrived to see the works in progress. I can only imagine how that would have been a true inconvenience. As for the... More

You will feel safe and pampered in this beautiful hotel. I've been here at least five times and it never disappoints. The hotel is undergoing some renovation but this should be complete in the next few months. The courtyard is a major plus. My business colleagues with come to me since it is so desirable. Lots of meetings take place... More

My husband and I spent the Christmas holiday season in Mexico: we stayed in three hotels over the course of our trip: • Las Alcobas, Mexico City - 7 nights, Dec 19-25 (An absolute jewel) • Casa Schuck, San Miguel de Allende - 6 nights, Dec 25-Jan 1 • Four Seasons, Mexico City - Jan 1 & 2 (Great Hotel)... This is such a charming hotel…beautiful colonial-inspired architecture, a gorgeous courtyard, spacious rooms, delicious food. But our 4- day stay revealed much inefficiency. The room wasn't cleaned until 4:00 p.m., the safe didn't work…twice…due to "rundown batteries," the WiFi in our Premier room was non-existent and required multiple people and several hours to get it functioning. And the concierges, although... More

Dear Barbara W, First of all thank you for taking the time to give us valuable feedback. Your kind words regarding our property are truly appreciated. It seems, however, we failed you in certain service opportunities and for that I am truly sorry. I would love the opportunity to speak to you offline and find a way to regain your... More
